Jeff, Thanks Jeff for your interest in my production. You are no doubt a "Clyde fan" but a little exclusive with your likes. You did not mention the 2450 Class that were also rebuilt into the 2300 Class. I hope you might find some of my other productions of interest as number feature Clyde built EMD locos. Again my thanks and feel free to comment again on the productions.
@@mikecondon9576 Ah yes, I meant to say "2400 series". They all sound fabulous. I got hooked on the EMD645 sound when I was 19, and that's 44 years ago now. My take on Queensland diesels goes something like this: 2300s and 2400s (up to 2501 of course) sound beautiful; 2800s sound bloody mean! Mike, please feel free to stay in touch (email jeffusher@bigpond.com). I have a long-term music project coming up which may be of interest to you.
Yeah, we all love the old steamers, but sadly the day of their comeback is not about to happen any time soon. But as the great jazz pianist Fats Waller used to say: "One never knows, do one!"
Absolutely my favourite locomotives along with their little cousins the 2400s, and of course their ancestors, the 1550-class.
