These ultra cheap homage watches are crazy value….i use to try out models I’m unsure of. I’ve been eyeing a Tissot prx but I’ve been unsure if the flat case would work for me. This one is going in my shopping cart…thanks.

I found the PRX bracelet is $25 ...so the watch itself is $15
Zinc alloy instead of stainless steel and mineral crystal is expected at this extremely low price point. I just wish they'd brushed at least the upper side of the case/lugs to match the bracelet, it looks quite mismatched IMO. I usually hate butterfly clasps since it's a 50/50 % chance I'll get it to fit me. However, you got it to fit really well with the same wrist size like me, hence the right 50 % here lol. Bracelet seems good over all.
I assume it's a very cheap simple movement in here, but it seems to actually not miss the markers that much (my only gripes with quartz movements is when they blatantly miss the markers, or are ticking loud). It remains to see how long it lasts, but I reckon you can get suitable quartz movements pretty easily these days if you need a replacement.
Not a fan of that big polished Skmei logo, but it's not a big deal. Personally I don't mind distorsions due to crystals, sometimes it's a great effect IMO. The watch looks good over all for this ridiculous price, and is worth a chance if you want super affordable yet elegant daily beater. Great review, and you've got yourself a new subscriber.

I spotted this watch during the 11/11 sale, was immediately taken with the classy vintage design and, given the price, buying one was a no brainer. I chose the version with the white dial and rose gold bezel, hands, and markers. Very elegant looking. I have the same wrist size as you and also removed six links for a perfect fit.
I do have two additions to your review. First, the bracelet links lack the usual little arrows to guide pin removal. I had to use trial and error to figure out which way to go. More significantly, I can't find an intermediate stem position to adjust the day/date complication. Is it too subtle for me to feel or is really missing? Is this just a flaw in my particular specimen, or is it true of all of them? I managed by winding the dial through the number of full days required, but it's a tedious process. I was lucky that the date was only five days off when the watch arrived. Despite these issues, I find it a beautiful watch and I enjoy wearing it.

I'm trying to figure out if the SKMEI has solid link bracelet. I purchased similar Nibosi watch but it has folded bracelet links. The Poedagar also has folded bracelet links.

Actually after inspecting the video in greater detail, it appears this SKMEI bracelet has solid links when compared to my Nibosi with folded links. My Nibosi bracelet is different because it has removable link pins on every link. The bracelet in this video does no so the bracelets are different. I originally thought all these brands originate from the same factories. The Poedagar shares the same stamped bracelet as my Nibosi. If this SKMEI truly has solid link bracelet, this would be the better purchase for about the same price. My Nibosi only costs $10 USD but the Poedagar and the SKMEI are about the same price but I like the Poedagar branding and logo better than the SKMEI.
Would you wear the SKMEI 1991 (Bambino homage) over this? 🤔

Hi, I've seen it☝️ but I'm a little dubious about the chrome plating of the case. On the chrono it works, on the prx the bright "pop" won't work... or simply put it will not look like a PRX at all
