I think it’s about time we stop comparing Muteace to Samsora. Muteace is now The Peach. Watching his grind up till now has been amazing. He has been over performing in recent history with absolutely not enough recognition.
Mute is crazy good obviously, but samsora was just an overall better and more composed player overall. Will take mute a year or so more of consistency to take the title of THE Peach.
Muteace is the next best Peach, pretty much always has been, and even present day can't consistently hit those 0-70/80/90% combos that Samsora was doing off damn near every down tilt in 2019. Sucks we'll never see Peach at peak potential again.
Snake is another obvious top tier character who it seems we will never see reach peak potential. I always wonder if Ally stayed around if Snake would've stayed a constant top 10 threat.
As a Peach main since Melee who was inspired by Arnada to pickup a GameCube controller, it’s so nice to not only see her in tournaments but nonetheless Finals. I think Peach is super underrated in terms of spectating when she is in the hands of a really talented player. Always giving respect to MKLeo but for my first time ever seeing MuteAce and I’m super impressed. Fantastic set.

Fun fact: every time Leo has been sent to the Loser's Bracket in Genesis, it was by a Peach main: 6: Samsora, Winner's Semis 7: Samsora, Winner's Semis 9: Muteace, Winner's Finals
2:29 so heres the thing: theres another option. Dont DI at all. You wont get spiked offstage, and you also wouldnt have gotten hit by that downair. Of course leo could read that too and still hit you with a downair, but it turns it into a 50/50. Most top players *ALWAYS* DI in here which gives byleth a guaranteed stock, but you have to mix it up between DI in and no DI. Only top player i see do this consistently is big D
MuteAce still being MKLeo's little demon since Smash 4 era's Civil War. I'll always remember what a shock it was when Leo's Marth was knocked out so early.
If Leo gets passed Light then it will be him vs MuteAce again. People feel that if Leo goes against him again then something will be different. They did say he has fought a Peach at that level for a long time. Light probably lost because it was his first time fighting a Peach at this level. So if he fights either one does it change anything in the battle or is it just pre written that MuteAce will win the grand finals. I don't mind but i like to see someone put him on his toes. It's kinda boring if you don't because then you won't know if his gameplay will grow. MkLeo has been at the top for a long time so as he gets older things will get harder for him.
