I was already a dropper. Inspite of giving my best efforts I failed to score a good percentile. From last 4 months, I literally studied 15-16 hours per day with only 4 hours of sleep. But still I ended up with 85 percentile. Now what shall I do? My parents won't allow me to take a second drop. And they don't support me anymore as I have failed them.😔😔

People talking about their struggle gives me a bit confidence....I am from Tripura, Northeast.... Here nobody even knows about IIT to an extent everyone here wants to be an Doctor here.....There is not a single coaching for IIT...but i loved maths so i studied myself and prepared using online resources..... However in this years attempt i only got 95.56percentile ....My parents are really happe because i would get CSE IN NIT Agartala.....but i am feeling very low....i wanted to take a drop but financially we are not that strong to afford one more year in studies....But for sure I Will be successful 😊

if you have around 95 percentile then I would seriously suggest you to focus on bitsat you all can crack it just one month of preparation and you can get into bits i myself was in same situation because to be honest now cracking advance is really difficult practice logical reasoning it's highly scoring

i never scored any good marks in my academic career in class class 11th i was directionless and wasted it all due to some family problems and my own lack of attentiveness in 12th i didn't knew about jee half way through i bought a batch in august but couldn't keep it up due toh the immense backlog and in the end i didn't knew what to do i lost my boards as well and gave up on my jee preparation i studied hard but couldnt keep it up now i know that in boards i wont be able to clear the 75 percent criteria but still im taking a drop year not because i want to prove myself or anyone wrong. everyone is saying that i shouldn't do what I am doing like a person like me would never make it. i know i wont be able to be that good but what i believe is hard work can always beat talent and im just taking this drop year because i just want to see what happens if just for once i gave it my all. thats the reason i am making this decision just to see my limits because i know if i backed up from the rough road now i would always take the easy road . im not writing this for anyone else im just writing it because i wanted it to get it off my chest. In the end I would like to leave you with this quote " A man's strength depends on how his mind sets it, do the impossible and you will never doubt yourself again".

@@megha4232 For bitsat or comedk, i think you should begin by completing your syllabus.. There are a lot of good one shots available on YT, use them & make your own short notes..
Then you can refer to some books like Arihant or Disha guide for LR & English specially . And lastly give 15-20 mock tests . And you'll be good to go..

Reservation wil only end if sc st community denies reservation. Jab vo khud mana karenge ki ab bas we are also equal , nhi chahiye reservation tab hi kuch hoga coz government is scared ji dange ho jaynge. A guy in my class belonged to such community he said his father taught him that reservation is also discrimination. We clapped for him for 30 min continuously.
