For me, it's interesting to come back and listen to Press Conferences after matches have been played. It's now February 2023 and the Lionesses have moved on just a little further in their story. There are so many of the squad with the confident attitude Beth Mead illustrates in this conference. I hope she manages to get back into the squad in time for a game in the World Cup for England, but also look forward to her return to Arsenal and see her magic in the 'box' we've witnessed before her injury.
I guess its because football is bigger in this country you forget about womens rugby. The England ladies rugby team are already 2 time world champions, not mention winning the six nations. Great ambassadors for womens sports you don't hear about.
