Well the CPC (Communist Party of China, i do not go with the >bad< abbreviation CCP) has lost its roots in ideas, idealism etc. So they do not want to be remembered of what they stood for ... The CPC is now about bureaucracy (partly adhering to Chinese traditions, but not completely) (Oh, and Lenin, the founder of the Soviet-Union and one of the prophets of the CPC, warned about bureaucracy; yet he reshaped his party and state to be rather bureaucratic, but the USSR and the CPSU never became as cynical as the CPC).
