      Jo Golphin so.. you went with JIM ROSS making a statement that has no factual validity or evidence behind it, yet we all must waste our time reading this false statement. Angle has the accomplishments of go along with statements. So like latoya said, Angle is better. Pure athlete goes to ales bar BTW so again even if you want to try and change what you said it’s still false, know why? Lesnar did it at all levels and if he wanted he might be in the NBA and that’s what great athletes do, did you picture Lesnar dribbling down the court and posting someone up? Lol

    lol Vince thinking Baron Corbin was a great storyline. No, Cena or Shelton Benjamin should have been Kurt's final opponent. Those matches write itself.

    • @1991awest
      @1991awest 5 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      DJ Skandalous unfortunately WWE has no clue how to book Shelton Benjamin. Gave him a losing streak in ‘05. Momma storyline in ‘06. Put him back with Charlie Haas in ‘07. Gold Standard in ‘08 which was fine but they should’ve at least made him ECW champion at the TLC ppv against Christian in the ladder match. Since his comeback he’s done nothing. It’s a shame.

    • @DJSkandalous
      @DJSkandalous 5 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      @@1991awest I agree. I would have put him in a tag team with Kurt, perhaps even winning the tag titles. And eventually Kurt Loses the belts for them. Shelton turns on Kurt and you go on for weeks with Kurt asking for answers, saying Shelton was like son to him. Shelton finally states after several weeks that he hates Kurt for always holding him back. He is the reason why he never got into the world title picture.
      This would have been bad ass. And you could have even used Chad Gable in this stable too If you wanted as a new World's Greatest Tag Team.

      Watch his appearances from like 2016, 2017, 2018 with podcast people like Steve Austin, Raven, and other media he was appearing on at the time. He was talking about his drug addictions a lot, and was always incredibly honest in what he said. It's refreshing, and even although he's talking about being a major drug addict in the past, he still comes across as respectable. Just another example of Kurt putting on how to clinics just by letting people watch as he goes about his business. The man is a real living ledgend.

Both of them in their prime would have Match of The Night written all over it but I guess it's up there with The Rock vs Shawn Michaels, Hulk Hogan vs Stone Cold, Chyna vs Victoria (those two in their prime is a dream match of mine, which could've happened in TNA when Chyna returned but she returned as in a referee/enforcer like capacity), DDP vs The Rock, Eddie Guerrero vs Shawn Michaels & Sting vs The Rock etc. as dream matches that we'll never see.

But, I had a lot of respect for pro wrestlers, those guys put their bodies through torture day in and day out. I have seen those guys get injured on television only to give them a call a few days later to ask if it was a legit injury to find out it was and they are having or had major surgery. I remember watching Kurt Angle in the 1996 Olympic Summer Games after the match he had a post interview with Bob Costas saying that was his last match he will have. He retired as an amateur Olympic medal wrestler. Angle broke down & said he didn't know to do with the rest of his life. Luckily WWE called he thought pro wrestling was dumb but gave it a shot. Years later he works in TNA then goes back to WWE what a legend. The greatest technical pro wrestler/sports entertainer in history of Pro Wrestling & has great comedic timing & can tell great stories!

    what fascinates me about this interview, besides the great content youre producing here and everywhere else, is the fact that at the beginning, it seems that Kurt doesnt really care about anything. He seems apathic and not interested in giving this interview. But you managed to make him laugh, talk openly, smile and have a good time until the very last second. This is was a good journalist is doing - he is asking the right questions in the right way at the right time, to make it as comfortable as possible for the other person. Psychologically, its absolutely amazing to watch Kurt getting more and more into you and the conversation! Brilliantly done, like always!

      Most of the New Japan people you mentioned don't have very good English skills unfortunately although Okada I'm pretty sure has a decent grasp on English so that could probably work although more than likely they all would have to be done through an interpreter which would hurt the flow of the interview too much. The North American/English based ones however like Ospreay, Eagles and pretty much the entire Bullet Club could work

Like I could see him interviewing Shinsuke or Asuka. They both speak pretty good English. Hell, he could even do a two-part double interview so Shinsuke can translate for Asuka when needed like he did on UUDD when Woods was interviewing them.
