Thank you for doing your video. As enjoyable as building can be it is never the less a great time commitment. And to video and edit and present… Well, your sharing this work is much appreciated!! You are a superb craftsman with great skill engineering the details.
Thank you very much! I use folded polyester decal strips to hinge the rudder / elevator, and they have worked well. I will definitely keep your video suggestion in mind, but in the meantime I believe I went into some detail on the process in my Velie Monocoupe log: m.th-cam.com/video/YTKIu4_vvlg/w-d-xo.html
Outstanding! A magnificently built model! What did you do to remove the dusting you mentioned with the Krylon? I've had that issue as well when using a matte, but I didnt have any when using crystal clear.
Thank you very much! I’ve had success removing the film with a soft, slightly damp rag. I decided to try the matte finish based on a recommendation, but will be trying crystal clear flat next.
Hello awesome work. Could you tell where can I find the plan or the kit? I will build a peanute scale and the plan you have used seems very accurate Thanks
Thank you! Unfortunately the kit isn’t made anymore, although they occasionally pop up on eBay. I looked to replace my set of plans, which are in poor shape, some time back but couldn’t find anyone who offers them. My understanding is that Aero Graphics is now part of the Vintage Model Company. They may be worth contacting to see if they have any plans they would be willing to sell to you. Best of luck!
A beautiful work of art. Thanks for shooting and sharing.
Your craftsmanship is superb! What a beautiful scale model!

A wonderful video and a truly stunning build. Enjoyed watching your skills and patience in building this iconic aircraft.
A fascinating model, I think I wouldn't have the courage to fly such a good-looking model...
As far as flying the modal R/C is the only way but with that beautiful build static display is the only way!!! Thank you your a MASTER!
Thank you!
Why don't you take over where Greg Thomas left off? I would definitely purchase kits from you! I love that Eindecker you built want flight videos?
That was "any flight videos?"
Very nice and detailed Sopwith Camel.

Amazing work! Great video!
What can I say ? Beautiful !
impresive build, loved watching the process. I have issues creating rudder and elevator hinges this small. Maybe a video how you are doing them?

@@dxmodelworks Thanks, saw the Velie Monocoupe after send this message, thanks👍
I hope you have read "Winged Victory" by Yeates. Probably the most authentic record about flying Sopwith Camels in the Great War.
I have, but it’s been awhile. I’ll have to revisit it. Thanks for the reminder!
@@dxmodelworks Inspiring but ultimately sad book, but flying a Camel must have been incredible. Your model is just too good to risk flying.
I've never been able to see the hump that gave it the name!
It was the humped fairing covering the gun breeches. Quite a few Sopwith types had similar fairings, but the Camel May have been the first.
Hello, I like your works very much. May I know which country you are in? I hope to visit you one day
snoopys plane^^

Hello they just answer me and said that they only find 1 and 2 of 4 sheets of the whole plan. Have you got 3 and 4 sheets?
Thanks
