Very sorry to hear that Bernie is no longer with them! I was actually just getting into their more recent stuff where he played some impressive licks! Oh, well, it's not the 1st time someone's left, & someone else will join! I still love the band...guess I always will! Dream On Guys!! Keep it up!! TD Rules!!
Wow I wasnt aware of this and find it very sad. He was the best guitarest they've had for a long time and entertaining. Still roll on the 23rd for London.
Sad to see/hear that everything TD is gone. This is as canned as a 36 pack case of Bud Lite. The quality cruise PA sound cannot hide that "bongos over iTunes" arrangement. It's over, Johnny! A heartfull TD improvisation to a two-step 960 sequence from 1972 blows this twaddle away. Buy the Bootleg 1 set in 2015 folks. Save the $$ plus avoid the H. Pylori laden cruise food. . .
Sad to hear Bernie is gone. Once Linda Spa very nicely put it by saying "these days talking to a musician is like talking to a bank manager". I see no different between Edgar and a bank manager. Money money money.
OH...what a thing to say!!! I am saddened by the fact that it was money which was why we missed the guitar the 'Final Tour' concert !! It made for a lack-lustre concert compared to the 2012 show which had magnificent guitar work. Of course Edgar's choice of tracks had to be limited if no guitarist was playing! Short sighted by Edgar - however much I admire him and his talent - this was a mean and disappointing decision!.....for a 'Final Tour'....he should have given it all he could and not penny-pinch!
Ouch. This is hard to fully comprehend. Edgar has stated in so many words that they got the same deal from Virgin that Mike Oldfield did (as in, very little money). He's also stated right on TD's website that inequality will be the end of us all. If that's so, is he really that broke? I honestly hope not, and doubt it, but it sounds rather bleak from any view.
Phil Anderson Can't imagine Edgar being broke. Think of all the films they've done over the years.....and the gigs they've done over the years...and the cd releases. I suspect he lives a comfortable life.
Great concert. Edgar Froese was very much needed for the world music but Tangerie Dream's music will remain alive forever.
WOW,what a musical experience, enchanting, wonderful to see these full shows.
So much better with a bang than a whimper. Thank you Edgar for all you have done for my life.
What an incredible amount of music Edgar Froese created! Iris @20:30 = a nuclear reactor in the percussion section.

From what I've seen online, Linda and Iris are gone as well. Far as I'n concerned, Tangerine Dream are gone. All that's left is Thorston.
Where was the guitatest Bernie? Saw them at The Albert Hall and thought he was fantastic with them.
Bernhard posted the answer on his website: www.bernhardbeibl.com/?page_id=1045

Richard Davis
Yes, very sad that he makes more money as a guitar teacher than playing with a great act like this. :-(

ONE OF MY FAVORITE GROUPS BUT THE AUDIO IS SO BAD IT IS UNWATCHABLE.
