Watching this, knowing these kids are in Minneapolis & seeing what's going on right now.. I'm hoping they are doing well. They must be so scared & confused. They also don't have the support of their school, which seems to be their safety. First Corona~ which took them out of school & now, George Floyd & what has sparked from his horrible death. They must be so scared! It seems like their safety & comfort comes from the school they call home. They're on my mind & in my heart. Sending love to all these beautiful people seen in this series!!
...I think you missed it. The American Education system was not designed for minority youth. In many cases the same biases prevail, today. Income has nothing to do with aptitude!.
Them kids need to be taught and not high fives and joked around with that’s the problem in these low income schools the students need to be taught not just played and joked with this is there future so teach them
you cannot teach a child unless they trust and respect you first and that means taking the time to build a solid relationship. Kids dont learn from people they dont like
