Did you know that the Bleu be Maine was created from British genetics. The bare blue face comes from the Wenslydale, but they didn’t inherit the fleece.
I am impressed by the great job of shearing that you do, Cammy. The sheared sheep showed no signs of track marks. Their coats look smooth and beautiful. Well done!
My sentiments exactly. No second cuts, as they've been known to say in the US. Beautiful fleece. I'd love to try some on my spinning wheel. A fleece like than would encourage me to dust off my wheel.
I thought the same thing. I can't stand for them to look like a mowed lawn. Like the girl from tick tock and short videos. May as well do it right, if you are going to do it.
Laine is an amazing woman! You should be honoured that she asks you to sheer her prize sheep. She knows you’ll do the good job she wants. Your nephew at the end is spot on! He rocked it! Good for him.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️another fun video Cammy , thanks so much.
First timer here. Came from The Hoof GP. The music is so fitting and the leaping sheep made me laugh. Looks to me like you did a beautiful job on those sheep. Job well done. Maybe Graehme (sp) could come down for a new experience at your place...hahaha. Got a fan here after seeing your work.
Holy cow! That is the biggest sheep I have ever seen! You did a fine job on him, he's just gorgeous with his new shear-do. You are one strong dude to position him around the way you did. Thanks for the video!
I grew up on a dairy farm in Michigan. I ran across your channel and have been hooked ever since. I know little about sheep. But have learned a lot watching and listening to your videos. I especially love that your daughter is a big part of day to day farming. I had to fight tooth and nail for my dad to allow me to farm. Especially in the fields. I didn’t realize how much I missed it until watching Chanel’s like yours. Thank you.
You have got to be the most versatile sheep man out there! So many skills and side jobs and you are good at everything! Great video! Would love to hear a little more about your great client's history and if she had any advice for someone just starting with sheep. She sounded like a national treasure!
The sheep that jumps through the frame at around the 3 minute mark made me laugh so hard! It made me think of how a person acts when they accidentally walk in front of you while your photos taken lol
A shearing champion says stubbornness and determination to prove critics wrong saw her crack a world record on Sunday. In a scorching Wairarapa woolshed, Amy Silcock sheared 386 ewes - smashing the 2022 women's solo record held by British farmer Marie Prebble by 16 ewes. After waking up on Monday feeling like she'd been “beaten up”, the 37-year-old said it was the physical and mental challenge that she most enjoyed. “You've gotta go to the darkest places in your mind to be able to get through that," she said. “When you're in so much pain and everything, and your body is saying stop, stop, stop, stop, stop.
He's a beauty! The underside of that fleece looks so soft. Thanks for sharing this big boy with us. I just can't get enough of these videos! Keep 'em coming, Cammy!
That ram is bigger than me when he’s sat down! wow! It’s not like he even shrank any without his fleece! Are the blues usually big like that? Lewis is hilarious!
Such stunningly beautiful sheep breeds, especially the blue faces! Please tell Laine how very gorgeous, and also so tame. I could tell they are well loved. Thank goodness those rams were cooperative or it'd have been impossible to shear! Lol!!
Can you PLEASE teach all these other people how to shear a sheep?? You are the first one, out of all the ones I have watched, that have not left one single cut on those poor babies. You are a true master at your craft! I wish others would learn from you!!!

This was my first video here. Wow! That ram was one VERY big boy! I wasn’t sure if I was watching a video on sheep or horses? I’m glad you didn’t hurt yourself with that 160-165kg beast!
Nice biceps! 😉. I love this channel. So glad Hoof GP recommended it. I live in a city in the state of Wyoming USA. This farm stuff is fascinating and inspiring. It’s cow country here and the ranchers have a LOT of sheep too.
For a Ram, he was really laid back. Normally Rams fight back when being shorn. He was a big boy for sure. I'm sure I grunted a few times trying to help you move him 😂
I’m so impressed by your shearing. You’re taking off the fleece in one piece. That ram was HUGE! All Icould think of when all the sheep were sheared was, “NAKED SHEEP!” 🤣
Can't tell you how it would feel to get him seated like that, but I think I would compare it to grabbing your 4wheeler from the back and flip it over in 1 go. Good looking sheep for sure.

Okay, I’ve been enjoying The Sheep Game for several weeks now ever since it popped up in my TH-cam recommendations-probably because I follow the Hoof GP and TEC-TV. I love all of Cammy’s vlogs, but this one, I have to say, is epic! It has nearly all the things I love about his videos, except for Lizzy and Jock.💞 This is Cammy at his best-funny, charming, handsome and brave-ready to take on this woolly beastie. And what a beastie he is! The fun begins with Cammy and Lainey hoisting this massive ram into place and Cammy going to work on him. That animal is totally passive-he’s dead weight in Cammy’s arms. But he’s also so gentle. He doesn’t fight to get away, or scratch or bite Cammy. I don’t know if all sheep are that gentle. But he just lies there, submitting to the inevitable. I swear at one point while Cammy’s trying to maneuver around him, it looks like they’re dancing. That’s when my husband heard me laughing from the other side of the house! I also love how, as big and floofy as this guy is (the ram, not Cammy!), his arms and legs look incongruously like little sticks. Capping it all off is the little boy, I think Cammy’s nephew?, in the wig doing a spot-on Cammy impression. I predict this kid’s future is on the stage rather than the sheep pen! So that’s my in-depth analysis of this video. Oh, and the subtitles are a nice touch, and I know people have been asking for them. But I love the accent and am finding it easier to understand as I watch more episodes. It feels more authentic to hear Cammy speak the way people in that area naturally do. On some videos I believe he speaks some Scots or Scots Gaelic-I forget which one they speak in the Highlands. I’m learning Irish now, but Scots Gaelic will be next! Thank you for the wonderful videos, Cammy, and much love to you, Lizzy and Jock from Arkansas! 🐑❤️
Oh, Cammie, I could feel your pain. Now that I am old anything over say 120kg is a real challenge, especially that last lift. I will admit that sometimes I just let them stand up at that point and finish standing. I envy you youth and vigor. Keep up the good work!

I’m a first timer to your blog. The sheep’s wool is beautiful underneath. That sheep certainly was massive with all its wool. Thx for sharing
I really enjoyed this episode. Would you consider possibly having the farmer go over a new breed and discuss the good points? I was fascinated with Maximum Obama.
Yeah good Idea! I'll try speak to more farmers this summer.
@@TheSheepGame Can you espescially ask about the fleeces/breeds, just asking for a spinner...?
I"m impressed with your strength and skill. The big ram looked as if he actually liked you and wanted to cooperate
Dang Cammy, that Ram is almost as tall as you lol
Haha not far off it!!
I hope one day I can be as quick, efficient, and skilled as you at shearing my sheep!
I wouldn't hold my breath, though. You've got a real talent. 😊
The way he just lays there like a big blue potato! 😂
Haha, they can be pretty chilled and maybe the show sheep even more so since they are handled a bit more, but if they want to show you who's boss they can soon throw their weight around.
You’re so gentle with them. Better than I’ve seen
