I went to Flowers hall in Hanover ohio to see the Lewis family and Jim and Jess show every year for close to 20yrs. Best times and entertainment in my life. These families were so humble and kind it was like going to a family reunion. Now I know it was the family of God. Thanks for sharing your family with us. God bless you all

I especially enjoyed the photos of Polly and Elzie together. I worked with Elzie for a few years about 1979 at the Milliken McCormick Plant. He was a quiet humble hard working man.
Such a special tribute for such a special and beautiful lady with a million dollar smile. I loved seeing Polly for many years at the bluegrass festivals my grandparents would take me to. I was so sad to hear of her passing. Heaven has been blessed with a beautiful soul with an amazing voice.
Polly was a wonderful lady. She always remembered my name which amazed me. She is my all-time favorite singer. She had the most beautiful voice and personality. I loved visiting with her, Miggie, Janis, Little Roy, Wallace, Travis, Pop, Mom, Lewis, and Earl at the record table. I grew up listening to their music. Her, Mom, Pop, Miggie, and Wallace make Heaven sweeter. I hope the Lord lets them put on a concert for us every now and then. I'm looking forward to it for sure. Love you Polly.

I just came across this..I never knew she died or the struggles she had the last few years. I had heard them singing growing up and never realized who they were. Their type of music will never be forgotten. None may try to sing like them and it will be the world's loss. You Miss Polly and all your family up there must be having some reunion!! Love your songs so much..
She certainly was a beautiful lady inside and out. She Loved and was loved back by everyone that was lucky enough to meet her. I am so glad my life touched hers! Rest in sweet peace Polly. You've earned your place in Heaven.
