Beautiful knife, but,, yep, it's illegal for us here in England, it baffles me that some manufacturers produce a knife that's a shade over 3" rather than a shade under the magic number,,
I'd have tracked down one of these, if it ticked the legal box, but I've stopped buying stuff I can't carry, (I've got plenty already 😂)..
(Incidentally, fyi, cutting edge length has nothing to do with it,, it's the total length from handle to tip, that has to be under 3",, )

It used to be "cutting edge length", but it changed a while back, to "total blade length"

Looks super cool! To me it looks like an almost traditional style with the pins and plaque, made with modern materials. Not sure if it was the light - but the blue liners looked great next to the carbon fibre scales.

I was really disappointed with the one I got. The grind was very uneven, I ended up returning mine. I really had such high hopes.

@@ThriftyKaniffy I know, I had watched a ton of reviews and felt VERY confident in my purchase. Maybe I was just unlucky, whatever it is, it left a bad taste in my mouth. TBH I am still looking for a design very similar to this, I liked the modern blade steel, but I would have preferred a more classic handle material. Do you have any suggestions. I want something small that disappears in pocket, cost isn't too much of an issue, just no double detents, I prefer a back spring or traditional lock back.
Brother makes some nice lookin knives. I think it's time I got one. I've had my eye on the carbon fiber swayback. I like the handle on this one, but the blade shape doesn't do it for me.
If it had anything other than carbonfiber I would buy it.
They are great for the money. Definitely pick one and try it out, Motoman.

The law is written very badly concerning blade length and contradicts itself, however the Police will go with three inch overall length so they would confiscate that knife and maybe in court you would be fined up to £500:00 just to clarify. Knowing UK there will probably be more restrictions brought in about legal carry!
