I can relate, to putting the " camper special" items on there. I have a 69 F350 26 foot c class motorhome, and it came with 69 Ranger white bucket seats, that are in perfect condition. So I have been adding Ranger simulated wood items through out the interior. Your right,...they should have gone the extra step!
Glad to know you have been able to recover! The truck is looking great! As a recommendation, when you mention your sponsors, vendors used, or parts, it would helpful to have more details in the description for their website, part numbers, etc.
Hi Marc! I have a similar history with the bumpside as you...My Dad brought home a 1970 F100 Custom when I was around 7-8 and it was the truck I learned to drive. Since then I've bought and sold a few and am currently working on a '69 F100 Ranger. In it's day they were the most capable, tough and reliable pick-ups on the planet with a ride like a full sized car! Mind-bending in those days...keep up the great work and thank you for putting up your channel. I'll be checking in regularly!
Nice vlog Marc. Great to see more than pictures, it really gIves a better perspective on the truck. The color is looking fabulous. You can't hardly get any closer to stock without little upgrades there this. Keep up the good work. Enjoy
Glad you are back Marc. I have had similar health issues over the past few months and glad to be back on TH-cam myself. Starting a Bumpside 4x4 project myself as I just purchased. Will be adding my videos on it soon. Take care.
Drop dead gorgeous. I hope you're feeling better these days. Do you build these for customers? I've built a couple but 36 yrs and 3 back surgeries from working in a warehouse can take it's toll.
Great Job Sir! I have a question if you don’t mind. I’m not mechanically inclined, so excuse my ignorance. My ‘70 Ford f-250 Sport Custom 360 2 wheel drive has the wrong carb in it; it stalls upon depressing the gas pedal. Could you tell me which exact carb goes in this truck, one equivalent to the stock 2 barrel. Thanks. Kenny
They pop up on eBay from time to time. Also, you can join some of the facebook groups, like "Fixem Your Way 67-72 Ford F100". People list them there, too.
All 4x4's of that era, came in only 300 6-cyl., or 360 V-8. This is the original 360 block, but with a 390 crank and rods, which turns it into a 390. The two engines share the exact same block and bore, with only the stroke being different. So, in short, yes. It's a 390.
Wow I was wondering what happened to this series. Truck looks awesome glad you’re recovering from your health issues
Thank you.
Glad you are feeling better. Truck looks absolutely beautiful
ran a set of 900 16's in the late 70's on a 56 3/4 ton international, was the only 36" tire i knew of at the time. wicked!
Thanks. I think they look pretty cool on there.

I’m pretty sure they did make a highboy camper special from factory cause both of my trucks are high boys with the camper special option
Why on earth would someone thumbs down this video?
Jealous, maybe? But thanks for watching and liking!
You are amazing, I’m working on my own 1971 F250 4x4. Something to strive for
Well, I appreciate that. Stay tuned. I'm doing a '70 highboy at the moment. Vids coming very soon!
Where did you get your emergency brake Cables ??,truck looks Awsom
I wish I could remember the vendor's name, but I found them on eBay.

Hey man where did you get those mirrors I’m restoring a 71 f100 and I’m looking for a set and those are the exact ones I’m looking for

Thanks man I appreciate it
Beautiful truck Marc! May I ask where you got those headers? I can't seem to find anything that fits an FE highboy.
Sanderson FF427 ceramic-coated "shorty" headers.
.....but you'll definitely need a mini starter, or they won't fit. I use Power Master starters.
@@bumpsideaddictionswithmarc3976 Thank you I appreciate it!
@@brianmcguire4493 Any time! Good luck with your truck.
Is it a 390 ? Or bigger internally? Neat truck! Great workmanship!

Where did you get leaf spring a d you a 1 inch rearch
Awesome video! did you build you own brake lines? or did you order a kit of pre-bent ones thanks for the great videos!
I haven't found a pre-bent kit I like, so I've been bending my own. Thanks for watching!
@@bumpsideaddictionswithmarc3976 inline tube makes a kit. However, I ordered it and found that it doesn't have the right fittings nor correct bends.
Exactly. I wasn't at all happy with the kit, so I just make my own.
what is that color called?
Ford calls is "Cordova".
I'm going to be another twit, but what is the full measurement of the tires?
Not sure, exactly, but close to 36" x 11".
Marc, how can I get in contact with you?
Your newest video is marked "made for kids" and has comments disabled. You may want to adjust that.
Fixed it. Thanks.
Huh? You skipped over all the stuff I wanted to see
