- Hi all, welcome to my Australian open collaboration where we share what we have found for our crafting from the op shops, secondhand shops, online op shops and social media etc. Anyone can join in, all I ask is that you link my channel back in your own video description box and add the hashtag to your title / description #OpShopCrafter there is no specific day as such just when you have a haul to share. You are more than welcome to keep doing your previous hashtag videos like #thriftythursday etc as I will be. I'm excited to have you on this fun journey with me.

Hi Valita! I just found you - so glad that you have made a place where we can all celebrate our oppy shops! I so love finding treasures wherever I go. Thank you ! Sincerely, Kate @thejournalnest❤❤❤
Awesome your so welcome I’d love you to join in….. 🤩👏🏼🥰
Oh they’re called bugle beads! Learning all the time.
Yes op shop packing is like Fort Knox. While I was volunteering for the Salvos for a while the issue is how many people come in and open the bags and try to make bags with the best of things in them. I was instructed to put loads of sticky tape on them so the people from the street couldn’t do that. Interesting experience.
Also I was surprised how much the throw out to landfill still if things are soiled or broken. A bit of an eye opener.
That soft fibre was awesome.
And what a find of those beads. I heard Corrine talking about them this week and am heading into Kmart today to see what they have. 🎉
Oh wow yes behind scenes can be a real eye opener 😳 you’ll love those beads!!! They have two different packs, solid colours and clear colours
