I was never what people would call a "fan" of Status Quo, but much like most of the UK, I grew up with them thru the 70's and 80's, loved their hits, remember the incredible opening they gave Live Aid, and admired them for what they did. You could always really tell that Rick was a lovely guy with a heart of gold.

Fully agree, if people want to believe in the big sky fairy, heaven and life after death that's fine but the reality is once you are gone that's it, you come from nothing and go back to nothing, i can imagine when you Die there will be a few dreams while your brain is still functioning then it will go dark and that's it.

Rick did not say that you "are able to (see) nothing or blackness". . He actually said "if anyone is thinking about it...nothing happens...it all goes black." This was his sense of humour even after a traumatic experience and not necessarily a deep philosophical comment on life and death (although it does hint at this and in his life many of his songs examined this such as "Reason for Living' and 'Too Close to the ground', although he was not Leonard Cohen or Bob Dylan with deep meaning lyrics either!)
Consciousness would probably only prove you are still alive and not dead and not that there is something after death. No one knows the answer to what is after...it is not proven.
Reason For Living (Rick Parfitt / F Rossi)
I felt in need of some loving
So I sat down on a wall
I tried to find a reason for living
But I couldn't find a reason at all
So I owned up to my maker
And I started to say a prayer
      I waited for an answer
      But there wasn't anybody there
I thought there should have been someone
But I wasn't quite sure who
It finished me to find there was no-one
That I could take my troubles to
So I knelt down by my bedside
And I started to say a prayer
It was when I asked for nothing
I could feel that there was somebody there
I'm looking still, but it's easy
'Cause I know which way to go
It doesn't matter how long it takes me
'Cause there's someone there to help me who knows
All the things that I am after
All the loving that I want to share
      It's so hard but I don't mind
'Cause there really is somebody there

@Caleb Rich no but given how the brain works during deep sleep, it's safe to assume that once all brain functions/activities stop they'll be no awareness.... unless no brain activity means more conscious awareness of things, which for some reason, I don't ever see that happening. If you don't know what happens during deep sleep, our brain waves slow down, this has been proven time to time, it's pretty much the reason we don't experience anything, just nothingness really. To put it blunt here, if you and I were in deep sleep for 1,000 years, we both wouldn't know anything

@Ninja TypesTooFast I agree but that's only a function of your biology. It's sad while you're still alive but if you don't exist all that won't matter one bit; I don't feel much during sleep (false equivalent since there are still things happening and you still exist), but I basically close my eyes and then open them 8 - 9 hours later ... Death might be that except you never open them again. To me it's not as much losing other people but not knowing the truth about the universe's creation; missing out humanity's rise to a space fairing species, the inventions of things that resemble our ancestor's perceived to be science fiction or witchcraft/magic. Although, a lot of things happened in the last 13 billion years (as far as we can see there might've been trillions or an infinity of time before our existence) and I missed them all yet didn't feel a thing o.O. Truthfully; I'm sceptical whether infinity and the sheer volume of stuff happening and going to happen is comprehendable by our brain ... Compared to the major wars that are sure to follow; the colonization of other solar systerms; the trillions and trillions of humans still to come; each having their own parents, friends, lives, questions ... Ours are rather trivial/unmeaningful.

Lmao someone trying to make an afterlife exist so they can sleep better at night. The visions people experience when their on the verge of brain death are caused by a panicking brain starving of oxygen. When you die it’s like it was before you were born. Did that scare you?

    • @DylanGames1000
      @DylanGames1000 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

@Dinetion my apologies I was looking at someone else’s comments. It’s my fault. I wasn’t paying attention. Forgive me. Now as to your confusion on this subject. No you wouldn’t even know you were dead. That’s what the gentleman in the video is stating. So what I was getting at was… When you think about it, death is just like before you were born. Life is simply a small blip in between two eternities of nothingness. Mark Twain(look it up) said in a quote: “ I do not fear death. I have been dead for billions and billions of years and never suffered the slightest inconvenience from it.”

    • @DylanGames1000
      @DylanGames1000 3 ปีที่แล้ว

@Dinetion Well my only issue with the concept of an afterlife is to me personally I feel like that diminishes the value of our lives. It seems like theist entire lives are revolved around the afterlife. They’re living to die in a weird way. I know you’d disagree with that statement but you can understand how it can seem that way to a non-believer. Here’s why I say that. And this isn’t me debating. It’s just me explaining the position of the philosophy. So rather than the alternative of hell. Let’s think of heaven. Besides many religions around the world having differing ideas of what heaven is like they all share one thing in common. It will last for eternity… Imagine that. Try and imagine eternity. The first 100 years wouldn’t be that bad. The first 1,000 a littler worse. The first 100,000,000,000,000 years ? Well that is just the start. It goes on forever and ever and ever and ever. Wrap your mind around that to the best of your ability. With an infinite amount of time. Given everything that can be accomplished, will be accomplished. What do you have left? Endless pointless existence. Only purpose is to worship god. Just like diamonds, gold, paper money, or anything. Life is no exception. An infinite INFINITE supply. It never ends. Of anything ANYTHING removes its value almost completely. The reason things like life and those other materials I mentioned above are valuable is because they are rare. To me, eternity in heaven, would be hell.
Never mind all the things wrong with the Bible like the support of slavery, talking donkeys and snakes, and fresh water fish surviving a salt water flood or vise verse or saying the earth is only 6000 years old.
Why did god even bother to create us? Why? He’s god. He has no need to be worshipped. Any being with infinite power, wisdom, and existence, with no limit in anything. Going beyond time and space. The very fact he chose a small little blip in the vast universe, he created little people to be given the choice of free will to chose to worship him or be doomed to hell. Interesting fact how the Old Testament mentions nothing regarding an afterlife. The New Testament does however.
Before you take the time to respond to all this… Please take the time to simply get on Google images and look up “Carl Sagan, small dot in a sunbeam quote.”
This all ties into what I’m saying. Space is mind breakingly big. Light is the fastest thing we know of that can travel through space. Yet light, travelling at 300,000,000 meters per second, takes us 8 minutes to get from our sun.
The closest star to us is our next door neighbour. Proxima centari. I believe I spelled that correctly. But I digress. This star(the closest solar system to ours) is 4.246 light years away. Meaning it would take light, travelling at 300,000,00 meters per second. Just shy of a little over four years to reach us. For comparison, our moon, is only 1.3 light seconds. Meaning it takes like to travel from our moon to earth in 1.3 seconds at the speed of light. It took astronauts 4 days to get there and landed. When you observe the Big Dipper, you’re seeing what it looked like 80 years ago. Because that’s how long the light take to get to our eyes. Traveling at its speed. Hence why we know the Big Bang occurred and the age of the universe is 14 billion years old. When you look into the stars you’re looking into our past. Astronomers are historians. By studying these things, it tells us about ourselves and our place in the cosmos. It also shows how SMALL we are. So in this vast space. Why did god make us the way he did. In. Universe we observe is NOT designed for us. In fact everything in space that’s not you wants to kill you. We observe this. He made us the way he did.
With the free will of eternity in torment or slightly less torment unless we devote our lives to him on this spec of rock. If we don’t we get torment for eternity. If we obey him, what’s our reward for spending our lives worshiping him? Congratulations! You get to worship him for eternity!!!
By the way where is heaven and hell? Where at they located? In space ? Where ?
So you can see why I don’t believe in god. I don’t believe in an afterlife. I see death, not as a particular bad thing. Just a natural part of life.
I have been dead for billions of years and never suffered the slightest inconvenience from it. In a way you never die. Because every atom in your body and on earth came from space. It’s made of star dust. You are made of the universe. And you will return to it forever. You are star dust. Literally. You are the universe becoming aware of itself and observing itself.
I do not disrespect any of your beliefs. I respect them and Honors your choice to believe in a religion. A great saying “I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend your right to say it.”
Have a wonderful day and stay safe, friend. Take your time. Write down all the points I made. Take time to make up responses. That’s IF you want to respond… I’ve been sitting on my front porch typing this novel of a comment. So if you made this far I commend you!

Hey mate I'm Jake. I drifted backwards out of heaven, into a black void for 40 minutes, let me describe it to you. I found myself on a narrow ledge, in between two large pillars. There was a large angel standing like a guard in front of each pillar facing into heaven- they were very solid, and about 10 foot tall- I felt small compared to them- and their heads would be through the inner ceiling of your house if they stood inside. They were not aggressive to me, and did not talk- but I could sense everything. I did not realise it was heaven, at first. So on that ledge, which was about as wide as a foot path- I looked behind me and it was just darkness in all directions- I felt scared I might fall off- and I then felt I was allowed to step off the ledge one step in to heaven between the pillars. I felt safer then. I was looking into a sweet little township- in front of me was a street from left to right, but no cars. Then across, there was a foot path, and then these houses, double story but some were joined together like those inner city terraced houses, quaint style- with little front fence, and a little garden. I could see two people greeting each other in a doorway, and they were all smiles, happy to see each other, like friends. We can visit each other in heaven. The homes were just normal homes- I am sure they even have furniture in them. I guess it is like that so we feel comfortable or familiar, like all the things we love about here. The street went along to my right and became a little town- with many buildings, honestly looked like a normal town centre. Off that street, a street went up to the left, up a hill- with a footpath by it, and he way up was a really large tree, and then a large beautiful building that looked like a town hall? And that street went up to a crest, and silhouetted with a blue sky- I sensed that over that hill, is excitement, adventure, like how we like to day trip here- wilderness and fun. So it felt really peaceful- like an awesome spring morning, there was a gentle breeze, and it was home- I was smiling by now, ear to ear, because of the peace I was feeling- I thought to myself " this is all I've ever wanted ", and I guess it was just quaint like a 1960s town. I wanted in. I felt a strong connection to knowing how happy I would be there/ unlike the strife I've known here. I realised I was not actually standing, but floating about 4 or 6 inches off the ground- but it feels like you are standing.
I noticed I was exactly me, but in a spiritual body- I could see my legs- and I had exactly my consciousness- thoughts in normal time, and my memories- so I can say I watched into heaven for about 10 minutes, and was smiling the whole time, feeling deep thoughts- sensing so much- I could feel eternity- and that was something I could feel that people in heaven are completely happy with life there- because of so many reasons- you can feel eternity/ so everything is contrasted with that certainty. Life there is amazing, and also normal. Heaven is all there is, it's the only life there is, and so everyone there is amazed and thrilled to be there. Most of all, God s love, is strong there. You can feel Gods love- almost like the air we breath, or the wind. It's fascinating and so perfect.
Well I began to realise my problem- I was only looking in, I was not entering. I realised that may mean I might not enter. Then I realised I was being judged. I came to realise- that would involve me not being allowed to enter heaven- this amazing place I'd fallen in love with in front of me.
I then started slowly drifting backwards at walking pace- out of heaven. Back over that ledge, and then off that ledge. I was floating out off that ledge, looking at where I had just been standing- and I could see under that ledge on the outside of the pillars- I saw that the ledge was made of light.
I was still peering into heaven- about 40 foot / 12 meters infront of me. And those angels were so calm- I was still not afraid, or aware of what exactly it meant, that I was going into this void. I drifted further and further into the void, and heaven got smaller and smaller- but I still was just looking at it/ looking in, lovingly. Not yet aware.
After 25 mins of drifting backwards, heaven was just a small cube of light. Then 30 mins, it was down to a pin prick of light. I was still not afraid, because I was still looking at heaven- and knew the peace in there / I was still buzzing from what I had just experienced.
Then heaven was gone, not even a pin prick of light... just my thoughts. I was not freakingbout at first. I waited a few minutes, realising, I was very stuck, in an enormous/ unlimited blackness. I started to sing/ I don't know why, but I could only remember the lyrics to 2 complete songs. And after that i stopped- because singing was making me nervous/ I could feel eternity, so singing was contrasted with eternity- it did not feel right. So i started thinking about my life, remembering. I was genuinely bored within 10 minutes. Every time I'd have a memory- it would finish, and my consciousness would be back in the now, in the void. I soon could really only think of the stupid things I'd done. The silly reasons I was not in heaven. Porn, steeling here and there, basic stupidity, but ultimately not loving God. I realised that not any of it meant anything to me at the time, and definitely meant nothing to me in the void. It was the worst realisation, of how in deep shit, I really was. There is no more sleep, and you can't die- all you can do is float there in this thick dark place, in utter fear, knowing its forever- and thinking only of the things you chose to do with your life. Choose carefully now, every single thing you do, or think- because it becomes all you can remember! You become your own hell. It is utterly shocking, to not make it to heaven. And in hell- I remember the feeling on top of all that fear and dread- was knowing I felt so alone/ separation from God. His presence is the most precious thing to feel.
So I woke at 2am with a loud shout, I actually woke my wife/ gave her a fright. My heart was pounding, bang bang bang bang, I was sweating, and breathing rapidly- I had been that fearful in hell. And my wife asked me what's wrong? I told her I dreamed I was in heaven and hell. And as I tried to describe it to her, I couldn't talk, because I cried. And there were no words to describe the actual feelings- the only word I could think of, I said it was " horrific ".
6 months later I started to look if anyone else had seen a black void- and I came across this video- and when I hear the word he used to describe the black void- I got goose bumps- please watch it mate. th-cam.com/video/bcOvWGuQTow/w-d-xo.html
So if you want to feel certainty in your life buddy- get busy loving God!! What ever you do. It's so important to you.

That's so sad. Maybe the dark blackness he saw is just the beginning of death. I believe so. And after that comes judgement. There's just way to much evidence of God & his angels. And also people who have encountered demons. I know there is a heaven and hell. That's why I'm trying my best to obey God's commandments and ask him for forgiveness everyday so I won't be left behind. I want to be able to enter into heaven. Jesus is the way! ❤

I would have thought it all depends on if a person flatlines or not and has to be resuscitated if they are classed as officially dead or not and or for a certain amount of time? This has happened to me twice in life now.. Once at 4 months old and I was placed in a coma and once in my early 30s. You know nothing about any of it.. You only realise it went all black like when we have had a sleep when, or if, you wake up again.. It's also nothing like having a sleep because there are no dreams or any brain activity or that I can remember anyway. I wonder if there is a time and space we occupy between life and death.. A window where we are given a chance to come back including with the help of medical assistance if required? What happened to people before they discovered they can resuscitate us, they were just buried? Two things I know of for sure... speaking from my own personal experiences of death or near death events.. Even if you survive it takes something out of you that you never seem to fully get back and also you never fully feel like your old self completely.. 1st the way the brain works, you wouldn't even experience "black" it would just be "nothingness" no "light" no "darkness" just pure "nothingness" I believe. 2nd why do people believe someone when they died and saw heaven or hell but won't believe someone who died but saw total nothingness? What, are people scared that there "could" be nothingness to experience once brain dead? Because if people are scared of that possibility, than please don't be, I only say that because if we don't experience nothingness when brain dead, then we won't need to be afraid of anything, all our thoughts, memories, images, dreams, hearing shitty catchy songs, those who hear and see things that aren't there, and everything else that is the product of our brains will vanish, it'll all be a "blank state of nothingness" we won't know anything, anymore. Don't be scared of the possibility. Infact, I highly believe that how our brains work, when we are dead, we might experience some sort of an "afterlife" but only for maybe 5-10 minutes, than after that, total nothingness. I believe that more than what religion believes, which is you know absolutely nothing, but than after, your soul goes to heaven or hell, depending on the humans personality. But, I think that bad or good, I think that nothing happens... But, that's just me though
Ps: I know there were alot of "repetition" going on there, like "nothingness" I know I said that word like so many times but I just wanted you lot to know that maybe that's what we'll experience, which is what I highly believe, and if I'm wrong, than so be it, but if an afterlife does exist (even when I'm brain dead) than I hope it's good, like I hope I wake up next to a lovely lady, inside a big house, in the year 2450 or something, like I wanna see futuristic shit

This theory of Eternal Oblivion is purely 100% in assumptions. 1st law of Thermodynamics states Energy can never be created or destroyed. Also the brain being the sole cause of Conciousness, it is a physical process to an extent but its also because its caused by the large amount of organized energy within the brain. If Energy and Conciousness are linked together and if Energy cannot be Created or destroyed, then its completely possible that there's more to Conciousness then we think, this correlates with the assumption that this highly complex, organized and ever expanding universe just "Big Banged" itself into existence from absolute Nothingness, The Big Bang also potentially violates the 1st law of Thermodynamics as well, the birth of the universe isn't the only critical question, id like to know about the "origins" of the universe.
I'd also like to know how this "Big Bang" was able to create possibly an infinite universe from something that wasn't even as big as a Proton? Also Conciousness if we obviously can't see correct? and dissappear when we die, correct?
How does something that is "un-observable" "dissappear"?
The whole notion is illogical and nonsenical. The only thing Nothingness can create is more Nothingness.
    Why Does Oblivion Exist?
    Why does Oblivion occur?
    Why is Oblivion true?
This is based off the philosophical ideology of "Sufficient explanation" and it should apply to everything in the universe. If these questions can't be answered it can't be proven either.
If anything this theory is as unproven as believing in an afterlife.
Also such a fate essentially adds a degree of pointlessness to reality. So the term "all for nothing" literally applies to everything within the Universe. Also at least the afterlife gives people incentive to live a good life. Oblivion basically gives people a sense of hopelessness knowing that no matter what they do it won't ever matter, yeah sure your friends and family will carry memories of you with them after you die, but thats really not going to do you any good will it? At least the afterlife has potential because while we have no definitve proof of it, there's always a possibility and that we just don't have the technological means to prove it yet. Oblivion on the other hand will never be proven by any means including science because the only way to prove it would be to experience it yourself but if you loose all awareness then how could it ever be verified?
Also can someone explain how is it saying everything came from nothing (with no evidence to support this claim) be any less ludicrous or far fetched then saying a God or a creator made everything? Perhaps Conciousness in the brain might cease to exist but there's no scientific evidence to suggest Conciousness itself ceases to exist. In Science has struggled to explain what Conciousness is and what mechanisms in the brain make it possible, they don't know. Some things are just beyond our current understanding and while Oblivion obviously appeals to alot of people, its your belief and yours alone, personally I don't fear Oblivion because it doesn't exist. Until a "Sufficient explanation" is given to prove it (not possible) then Oblivion dosen't exist "no pun intended"
Its weird enough for people to think our universe was created by a giant "hadouken". But the concept of everything coming from nothing spontaneously is very reaching. Eternal Oblivion i feel is popular because its the most convenient explanation for questions some people give up finding the answers for. Also how can science describe Oblivion as being in a "dreamless sleep" considering Science has yet to explain the purpose of why we dream or what even causes it.
The only "Oblivion" that exists came out in 2006 for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC
I will say this though, having a invisible diety looking out for a single planet in an infinite universe is screwed up.
Our universe is mind numbing in scale. Our "observable universe" is roughly 96 billion light years in diameter, with and estimated 2 trillion galaxies, Within these galaxies and estimated 1 septillion stars (1 with 24 zeros) Planets? Oh dear 😳 I don't even know where to begin with that one. This is just within our "observable" Universe, the total Universe could be thousands or millions of times bigger. And its all controlled by one God who if exists, absolutely sucks at his job in taking care of a single planet, yeah okay 🙄 In our galaxy alone is estimated 6 billion Earth Analogs in the Milky Way, these are planets that could potentially harbor life or possibly has the favorable conditions for life to occur.
There's some things out there that are pretty damn specific if everything was a random accident. You know things Quantum Physics, DNA sequences, Genetic Engineering, Engineering in general, Chemistry, Botany, Medicine, Dreams, Intelligence, Knowledge, Philosophy, Religion, Spirituality, Imagination, Faith, Common sense, emotions, memories, consciousness, the inherent desire humanity has possessed to explore everything, the fact that humanity has seemingly posesed the urge to believe in a higher power regardless of what name they gave it, the possibility to even believe in life after death. All just randomly materealized into existence, for being a mistake i find it interesting how considering all the humans that have ever accidently came into existence on this planet, that's alot of repetitions of the same random accident don't you think?
All the people who've had a Paranormal experiences in which Science seemingly can't find answers for (how shocking) were all just delusions manifested in our minds, since Science still hasn't found out things that they should of answered by now, like why sleep is even a thing, oops I'm sorry I meant "a random accidental thing" 🙄 They really have no definitve basis for making such assertions about things they know nothing or too little about.
I'm also starting to hear the sound of birds chirping when someone says everything shouldn't exist, as if being Emo was a universal constant, that just became something from Nothing in my head. When someone tries to actually describe eternal Oblivion like they've been there already, next time someone tries talking like this to you, ask to see postcards. Or perhaps the afterlife is simply beyond Scientific understanding, because you know that's kind of what Supernatural means, and that Science can't proove life after death because of its own limitations? And that you can't use Science (which in fact does have its limitations) to prove or disprove something with no limitations aka the afterlife? I mean we're expected to believe in the Big bang theory, apparently it's provable enough to be considered a theory but not enough to be a law, that's not how it works, because this Theory is relying on the existence of Dark Matter and Dark Energy which can't be proven to exist either.
I'm not a religious person but for people to criticize others for believing in something like a diety and/or an afterlife, because no Sufficient evidence exists to prove it, and yet they "PREACH!!" this Nothingness lunacy which has even less scientific evidence (like none) and yet these people still believe it as fact.
Is it just me or is that pretty much the same thing as having faith?
If Eternal Oblivion is real, then the Moon is really a secret alien base who sends messages to earth using a bag of Skittles. And that Poptarts are really reptilian blood amoebas and that the photo of the Black Hole taken in 2019 is really a giant red plasma donut made from quantum frosting......that accidentally came to exist out of pure Nothingness. Im sorry but i keep seeing this image in my mind of a straight jacket that appeared from eternal Nothingness.
The accomplishments humanity as achieved, Nanotechnology, heavier then air flight, Space travel, Computers and the internet, Harnessing Nuclear energy, We've been able to detect light in the universe thats over 13 billion years old, we've sent probes to the edges of our solar system, being able to make detailed radio maps of Galaxies hundreds of millions of light-years away, being able to photograph distant Nutron Stars in visible light, recording radio waves form far away Pulsars. Achieving temperatures in laboratories to within a small fraction short of Absolute Zero. Using Mathematics to make accurate predictions and explanations about the many cosmic phenomenons we've observed.
And it's all for nothing, completely pointless is everything, what a shame sadly, not only would that constitute into being an infinite tragedy, but also the cruelest of fates.

@@Soc-q7j Its interesting how Atheists consider themselves as rational thinkers. At least life after death from a pure logical perspective makes more sense because the Oblivion theory buries itself under its own hypocrisy. How can you prove that non-existence exists? They require Scientific evidence in order to accept something as truth. I can guarantee that no scientific test, theory or hypothesis or pure evidence exists to prove something that violates the Laws of Physics aka Eternal Oblivion. While I do believe the universe is of intelligent design its not a single God if anything there's more to it then one diety. Because if God made humans in his image means that any other complex intelligent life in this universe would also be human or human like because if aliens are jellyfish creatures with telepathy or anything else but humanlike we're going to have a big problem. It would be unwise to presume other intelligent life would even know what religion is let alone being a God fearing species. If anything God's jurisdiction would begin and end with earth, thats if there is an actual God. Maybe the afterlife is based on the individuals beliefs which actually would be amazing because then organized religion becomes irrelevant and being spiritual is all thats required because then there is no need for faith or conflict or saying this belief is right or wrong it wouldn't matter. If its God, Odin, Loki, Mohammed whatever entity you draw spiritual nourishment from. Hell even the "big flying Spegetti monster" if you really want to belive in that, just bring a fork and lots of napkins. 🤔 An example is that the speed of light is supposed to be the fastest speed in the universe, but yet we also know the universe is expanding at faster than light speed. So the Universe doesn't even play by its own rules, why should we?
Why is Science so obsessed with needing physical evidence of life after death. Did anyone consider that we either don't possess the technological means of providing life after death or maybe because the afterlife is supernatural it is simply beyond Scientific understanding and that Science's inability to prove an afterlife exists is based on Science's limitations? Its entirely possible that perhaps none of the above is correct and the only proof will reside with the individual who's seeking it. If Atheists wish for Nothingness then they can enjoy eternity in the void if that's what they really want i suppose, I didn't know being Emo was a universal constant. Im starting to believe their problem isn't lack of faith its lack of imagination. It exists for a reason, dreams exist for a reason and Science has failed to explain these types of phenomenon we all seem to experience, since the beginning Mankind has possessed an inherent desire to explore everything, to realize our true potential and reach for the stars. Transhuminism believes Technology will allow humanity to surpass its own limitations, why not? Perhaps its better some of these mysteries remain as such, it dosen't matter what someone else believes in, all that matters is what you believe in.
If Oblivion does exist its not eternal, if we all came from Nothingness including life then what's to stop this from happening again and again and so on. Atheists describe Oblivion as if they just got back from a vacation there, well how can you describe something you can't even experience to begin with.
I do believe Parallel universes could exist, though they could never be proven the reason rests in the very nature of what Parallel universes are. If you were sent from this universe to another universe then only you would be able to possess this information, how could you ever transmit or share your proof with the universe you just came from? You wouldn't and perhaps thats the point.

Second, you don't cease to exist, you will return as atoms in the enviroment, and those atoms in the enviroment will create a multiple of living enitites on this world. Lastly, you will become one of the many living entities without any thought or memories from the previous. Also, you are just a creation of atoms and molecules, include your consciousness and memories, that means there is no actual "you".
