Да и в его случае диод даже потек, а на сгоревших почти всегда есть очень видимая точка Да и проводком смотреть не логично ведь диод может быть сгоревшим и не один. А еще в некоторых таких лампах есть электро дорожки и они бывают тоже перегорают и ремонту такие точно не подлежат уже было в моем опыте

А не фига. Такая лампа через 10 секунд сгорит. Грифель имеет высокое сопротивление из за этого ШИМ работать будет на максимуме иив итоге сгорит ШИМ и за собой потянет два три светодиода. Лучьше запаять а не страдать хуйней.
Sorry but any insurance will not cover self-made stupidity. Naturally one could be silent when something happens but that would be an insurance fraud. If a led has already failed this most likely means these leds are driven to their limits. Taking one out with graphite resistance does not give much hope for the rest of those leds.

Graphite has high electrical resistance, meaning it heats up when an electric current is applied to it. I've made mechanical pencil leads glow red hot from 12V batteries, and you're dealing with actual grid power here.

1. most LEDs have some kind of tolerance so they won't instantly burn out if you remove one. unless it is one of those vintage lightbulbs where are like 4 diodes, you will be fine. 2. if they, as you say, burn out, the power will be instantly cut, due to circuit disconnecting and no it won't set your carpet on fire, because there is this plastic casing that covers it (unless you are lazy and don't put it back) so don't worry, your lightbulb won't instantly explode if you remove one diode from it. I hope this long ass paragraph helped you ;-)
If one led opens circuit and the rest folliow, that means it is ‘series’ connected (not parallel). If you jump that, the rest will work again but NOW become overvoltaged and therefore overloaded. When things are overloaded, they heat up more than designed and this can burn even the plastic cover. If you think that’s not dangerous, consult Murphy’s Law. Cheers bro 😊.
@@liboy9844Good point :-) LEDs will burn out, but not in the way you might think, they won't just randomly catch on fire or explode, they will burn from the INSIDE, so by the time they would start overheating, they would already be burnt out and the circuit disconnected so it would just stopped working (again). ultimately you should just solder in some other LED or Resistor using a soldering iron and NOT A FUCKING PENCIL, (Or you could buy a new lightbulb, but cool engineers don't do that, am I right?)

However, let’s not forget that the risk is not only in the bulb or appliance per se but also on the wiring and contact surfaces (eg plugs receptacles and switches) suporting the equipment. If those are not in good condition (old, worn, corroded or loose contacts) added load can cause electrical resistance across the contacts to further increase and generate more heat to eventually cause burning and melting and consequently ignite flammable materials beside them. Learned this from actual experience that’s why I’m extra careful these days at risk of not being a ‘cool’ engr. anymore. Cheers bro 😃.

if you were paying attention in your physics class, you would know that once an LED "breaks" it instantly cuts the circuit, thus eliminating the chance of a fire.
It depends on the type of power supply. If it is a current source then the current will remain constant if LEDs are removed from the circuit. If it's a voltage source, then the voltage remains constant across the entire string of series connected LEDs, and if an LED is removed, then the voltage across each of the the remaining LED's will increase, causing the current through the LED to increase which might exceed the maximum current permitted for the individual LED, leading to a reduced life or instant burn-out. The correct way to drive an LED is with a current source. However, voltage sources are also used.

This means that the voltage connected to the LEDs in series must be about 50V not 110V. You're confusing the old type of LED which contained a voltage converter, to the new filament LEDs which only contain a rectifier and some capacitors and probabbly a linear regulator

уже делал такой фокус но не надолго работает такой фокус , патом и другой сгорает а всё потому что тем меньше светодиодных ламп тем ярче горит а в итоге из за эта перегорает и остальной по цепочку , лучший способ не делать на прямую а поставить деталь каторый уменьшит напряжение на светодиодных ламп вот и всё .
Светодиод в LED-лампе или ином светильнике - нелинейный элемент и его мощность регулируется не напряжением, а током. Для этого стоит в лампе драйвер светодиодной цепочки, который её и питает током постоянной величины. Но китайцы, желая сэкономить, сильно завышают допустимую мощность, отчего светодиоды светят ярче, но меньше живут от перегрева. Для того чтоб продлить жизнь лампы, надо найти задающий ток драйвера резистор и поменять его на большего сопротивления. Лампа будет светить чуть тусклее, зато проживёт дольше в разы. Проверено практикой.
@@Ingener77777. вы сначала возьмите лампу целую и посмотрите на сколька ярка горит а патом выньте лампу одну и опять проверьте а патом второй лампу так же выньте и проверьте и посмотрите в каких различии яркостях горели и патом сами поймёте , и никакой драйвер ничем его не регулирует ано толька даёт тот напряжение каторый может выдерживать светодиод вот для чего драйвер , эта как с 12 вольта включить на 220 на прямую без драйвера как вы считаете что произойдёт .
Great job. This only works when all bulbs are connect in series ( where each bulb depends on each other) so when one has a fault they all can't light. That's why he used jumping cable on every bulb and when he reached the faulty one , the blocked current jumped through the cable to complete the circuit so that's what made all the rest bulbs to light when the cable was on the faulty bulb.

Хотя можно встретить крайне примитивные драйвера, которые не стабилизируют ток (по сути являются источником напряжения), тогда остальные диоды начинают светить немного ярче, но недолго.
It shows that the LED’s are serially connected. When it’s serial connection one fused will not let current pass. Then to let it pass graphite power from pencil which is a conductor is used. Smart idea.

That's often too much for the other LEDs to handle.. I like to keep a bulb for spare LEDs and I just replace them.

I'm also an electrical engineer... Just buy a new lightbulb. Do not go messing around with electronics you do not understand. Surface mounted parts are far more difficult to solder than through hole components.

@@1805h1 it would start to burn around the burned out LED due to the increased resistance of the graphite used to bridge the contacts to complete the circuit. Higher resistance = increased heat, especially with carbon.

Ok all you people saying its going to cause a fire, don't realize that the LED circuit is supplied with only a few volts DC and is pulling 30mA maximum. The LED's aren't taking the full 15 amps from the wall circuit.

@@brendancooney9401 No they are not the LEDs are powered by a power supply which supplies a lower Voltage. Only Filament LEDs are directly powered by mains.
@@jjjannes no, most LED bulbs are floating at mains voltages. Individually they see only low voltage but they are floating at mains voltage above ground. A very efficient and most importantly very cheap way of manufacturing them.
@@brendancooney9401 Not this type of LED Lamp, there are about 16 LEDs, over each LED there is a voltage drop of about 3,3V. This means that the voltage connected to the LEDs in series must be about 50V not 110V.
You're confusing the old type of LED which contained a voltage converter, to the new filament LEDs which only contain a rectifier and some capacitors and probabbly a linear regulator

уже делал такой фокус но не надолго работает такой фокус , патом и другой сгорает а всё потому что тем меньше светодиодных ламп тем ярче горит а в итоге из за эта перегорает и остальной по цепочку , лучший способ не делать на прямую а поставить деталь каторый уменьшит напряжение на светодиодных ламп вот и всё .

Светодиод в LED-лампе или ином светильнике - нелинейный элемент и его мощность регулируется не напряжением, а током. Для этого стоит в лампе драйвер светодиодной цепочки, который её и питает током постоянной величины. Но китайцы, желая сэкономить, сильно завышают допустимую мощность, отчего светодиоды светят ярче, но меньше живут от перегрева. Для того чтоб продлить жизнь лампы, надо найти задающий ток драйвера резистор и поменять его на большего сопротивления. Лампа будет светить чуть тусклее, зато проживёт дольше в разы. Проверено практикой.
@@Ingener77777. вы сначала возьмите лампу целую и посмотрите на сколька ярка горит а патом выньте лампу одну и опять проверьте а патом второй лампу так же выньте и проверьте и посмотрите в каких различии яркостях горели и патом сами поймёте , и никакой драйвер ничем его не регулирует ано толька даёт тот напряжение каторый может выдерживать светодиод вот для чего драйвер , эта как с 12 вольта включить на 220 на прямую без драйвера как вы считаете что произойдёт .

Если стоит хороший драйвер, то ток останется прежним. Но всё равно много диодов нельзя закорачивать)
Great job. This only works when all bulbs are connect in series ( where each bulb depends on each other) so when one has a fault they all can't light. That's why he used jumping cable on every bulb and when he reached the faulty one , the blocked current jumped through the cable to complete the circuit so that's what made all the rest bulbs to light when the cable was on the faulty bulb.

После такого ремонта повышается ток на остальных диодах, следующий перегорит очень скоро, а следующий уже, возможно, через несколько минут.
Если установлен драйвер, все будет норм, он понизит ток . Но все же его нужно подрегулировать чтоб не сгорали больше диоды .
@@everythingabout6066 не понизит, он знать не знает сколько диодов работают. Регулировка в таких лампочках не предусмотрена, только перепайка.

@@Maks905 Да, вы правы. Я что-то затупил. Диоды же питаются от источника тока, а не напряжения, благодаря драйверу (даже примитивному). Хотя можно встретить крайне примитивные драйвера, которые не стабилизируют ток (по сути являются источником напряжения), тогда остальные диоды начинают светить немного ярче, но недолго.

It shows that the LED’s are serially connected. When it’s serial connection one fused will not let current pass. Then to let it pass graphite power from pencil which is a conductor is used. Smart idea.
