This is a great tutorial for Codesys, I just downloaded this program a few days ago because one of my colleagues recommended it to me. He’s been using it for years and now he’s been showing me how to use it so I can start actually learning how to code PLC’s. I’ve been looking for a software package like this for years because I really want to leant how to code PLCs so I can get more involved in the Automation field. Thank you for the tutorial videos, I will be sure to work my through each of them.
Hello and thank you for this valuable content. Can you please explain the difference between the simulator you used in this video vs download and running PLC program to Control Win V3? To me it seems that it can be used also for checking the program, so I'm not sure what is the difference.
Iam so excited to learn about codesys However i failed to know which brands of plcs i can use codesys with? And can i upload a software from lets say Siemens plc to the pc using codesys? Or is it only for coding? And what communication protocols it support? It's these things iam interested in before i invest too much time to learn it
CODESYS actually have their own PLCs that you can use along side this which can also talk to remote IO on the shop-floor. This would usually be done through Industrial Ethernet.

Glad you liked it!
Thank you for this video! I really appreciate it =)
You are so welcome!

Very useful Video and Thanks for making it
Thanks and welcome
very useful, thanks. Do you have a tutorial for implementing this basic circuit to an HMI and simulating using the HMI software?
Yes, inside of CODESYS playlist.

Hey. Do you know if there is any free softplc software out there to codesys?
I would need to check
nice video for new comers
Glad you think so!
Hello, does codesys simulator support Modbus TCP communication protocols? If I can simulate to Factory IO without hardware?🥰🥰🥰
It can. Codesys installs a soft plc which is basically a full body plc running from your PC.
Have a look at the reply above
@@ScantimeAutomationTraining Thanks,I'll try it😀
