It's only the industry standard for some places in the U.S.. Go to any foreign country and I guarantee you that you'll see most dj's using traktor or virtual dj (which is another rubbish program). I've spun on both and the layout, functionality, appearance, and options for Traktor far surpass Serato. I'll give it to Serato in that they have made significant improvements but I still prefer the look of Traktor's deck layout and waveforms. The DDJ-SZ would have been a perfect for a Traktor mapping with direct access to the remix decks using the pretty pads. It could probably be done but I don't have the patience to do all the MIDI mapping. If I'm going to consider dropping $2k on a controller, it'd be nice to have options straight out of the box.
How much better are these than Traktor S4?
detesto ser pobre :(

pfft....Serato. Should have Traktor-certified it and offered a choice of either Traktor or Serato. Serato is rubbish.
Why is it rubbish? I'm very curious to hear your reasons for disliking the industry standard.
