Finally someone using critical thinking. Key point he said here was about preventing hospitals being overrun not getting covid to zero infections/deaths and eliminating it. Yet if feels like we are all on a mission to eliminate covid! No one ever talks about a strategy to improve hospitals so we can be better equipped to manage covid outbreaks this winter 2021/22. There are enough hospital beds to serve the people in most 1st World English speaking Countries who are ill... we must not panic, the situation is far less of a risk to mankind and his survival than it was 16 months ago. Thank goodness people who are vaccinated do not need to wear a mask. The 'big scare' is behind us...

Children are going to school. There is more virulence, but hospitals are not under pressure and deaths are averaging 20 a day in the U.K. not hundreds. Business are open bars and shops, where do you get your information from. It is so inaccurate. You paint an in accurate picture not the truth.
