- Jericho Arceo, one of the Philippines' most sought after TH-camrs, delivered his talk, "How Social Media Changed My Life," on the TEDxYouth@LucenaCity stage. This 18-minute talk comprised of his personal experiences that served relevance towards his journey in becoming a successful internet sensation. With social media as his platform and technology as an integral tool to express his sensible insights and substantial wisdom, it is truly a right mindset that has aided him in difficulties and has helped him stay grounded over the course of this path. He is an amateur TH-camr from Angeles City, Pampanga. He graduated in De La Salle University Manila in 2017 with a degree on Educational Psychology. He is also a creative writer, an inspirational and resource speaker and also a content director.
Jericho a. k. a Kuya Jik, became a household name for Kapampangans worldwide when he was first noticed for his vlog series on “Things about Kapampangan” while earned him the name “Kapampangan Vlogger and Influencer”. He is also awarded as Top Rising Pop Influencer of the Year 2018 by PPOP Awards for Young Artists 2018.
More than highlighting Kapampangan and its culture, his content showcases honest insights on relevent social issues, skits, and a lot more. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx

I admired people talking in front of big audience and sharing their ideas. If you can join "Toastmasters International" organization, you can learn to minimize (if not eliminate) 'long pauses' and uttering unnecessary words like 'you know'. This talk is still a thumbs up for me.. ;-)

I am also having a hard time speaking in front of people because I might be judge by them. I understand how it's hard to face people when you're shaking but I always tell to myself "Have faith to face it, trust him to fight it". :) God bless sir jik! I am also pursuing education just like you. 💓
