Self care is very important so I went over to governors island to relax and unwind. I visited Gitano restaurant and QC spa for a self care day that was much needed. Both places were amazing and I had a great day on the island. My favorite part was definitely the views from the spa.

Things to know:
reservation needed for both spots
5 min ferry ride to the island from Manhattan
ferry tickets included with reservation to QC spa
Last ferry leaves the island at 10pm
QC is an adult only establishment
