Really enjoyed your video on Centipede. I have a 3 acre yard with Centipede I love Centipede. I live on the river here in South Mississippi and believe it or not Centipede grows naturally in our sandy soil. I've had to learn the hard way on proper care of Centipede. Don't over fertilize and keep cut low as you pointed out. Using pre-emergence (Prodiamine) is the key to keeping the weeds Grab-grass especially out, Please do a follow-up video this year. I would like to see all the spots filled in. Great job my friend!!

I just ran into your video and it does give me hope for my backyard, especially living in the south with hard clay soil. Just curious, I know this particular grass depends on a lot if sun. With the steps you provided, will the Centipede still grow under shady areas?

Research “bulk lawn seed” on the internet in your area. You’ll be surprised how much seed you can buy for the same amount of money as the small big box store bags.

My lawn is probably 1/4 of yours so it shouldn't be too hard to do. But my lawn has a bunch of bumpy areas, doesn't feel good walking on it. Great job with centipede, beautiful green yard! I could use some advice please…. I seeded my backyard with annual rye last year after removing all weeds. I’m about 30 miles North of New Orleans, it’s the end of March and the annual rye has grown in everywhere, I believe 🤞 the annual rye will die off when the higher temperatures come, can I seed with centipede before it dies off in mid to end of April? I do need to fill in my yard with dirt,l generally use river sand. Should I put sand down now and wait until end of April to seed? Any suggestions will be most appreciated. Thanks!

What I've done for years is let the sprinkler run for one hour on every section twice a week and that'll give you one inch of water for that week and that has ALWAYS worked for my St. Augustine grass and for most other grass for that matter. I live in Jacksonville Florida. I did the same thing at my parents house and I got the same results. One inch of water per week and watch that grass GROW. Scotts Bonus S Weed & Feed is a real good product to use. If I'm correct this is the best time of the year to use it. Satisfaction guaranteed if ya ask me. That stuff has NEVER failed me. Good luck buddy.
