Yes, definitely! I will do this once I release the III. Patterns tab in the new tool that covers the last optimization step. But here are the steps for you so that you have an idea of how it works: 1. Watch all videos that you collected as a pattern as I explained in the video above. Analyze them in regards to what they did well and how they did it - story, editing, the information they shared etc. This will then tell you how you yourself can make a video that combines the best of all of them. 2. Also read the comments of these videos to see how they audience responded to those videos. Oftentimes this will give you an even better idea how to create a great video on that topic. 3. Do the same for the thumbnail to create your own thumbnail that wins the click. 4. Finally, keywords: As I said, this growth strategy does not need keywords. It is not working in the same way as SEO because we optimize for different TH-cam algorithms. What we do instead is to take the video titles from all videos in our pattern and create our own, similar video title that is as catchy as possible to win the click. The only aspect that we need to ensure is that the video title uses similar words as the titles of the videos in the pattern. That means that you need to ensure that the main words that most videos use need to be in your own video title as well. The main words are usually those that make clear what the video is about. You can of course combine it with SEO. If you want to do this then you would do the SEO for your video as usual and then write a video title that follows the SEO rules as well as what I wrote above. I hope this helps!

I think I need to figure out my niche a little better because I can tell there's some great data to be gathered here. Some of what I'm finding is definitely showing trends that I would otherwise miss with the channels I subscribe to, but becomes more clear with this tool. I have one video in mind to make that I otherwise wouldn't have without this tool. I'm thinking what I was hoping this tab would be is going to be in the "III. Patterns" tab, though! Part of the tricky thing in my niche is that if I discover a trend like fuel pump upgrades get tons of views or a certain engine swap is quite popular, I can't always just make a video about it next week. However, I did notice that talking about ethanol in gasoline is doing pretty well, and I can definitely talk about that! At any rate, excellent work on this tool! Definitely adds value to MorningFame!
That’s great to hear Steve! I really appreciate your deep thoughts. :) Indeed, the trends aspect of it is not everyone’s cup of tea. I also cannot react quickly and thus I rather focus on evergreen topics. And you are right, if the niche is defined well in the I. Niche tab then the research in the II. Topics tab will yield many video ideas to choose from. How did you define your niche so far if I may ask? Or asked differently, how did you decide which channels to add and which channels to ignore? And sorry that I am bombarding you with questions. Could you say more about what you expected to be in the III. Patterns tab? I am not understanding yet what you exactly mean. Thanks a lot buddy! :)
Hello again Nico, I saw this reply but gave the tool some more time to grow on me before I answered. For my main "my niche", I started with channels that do the mix that I do; repairs, "how it works", and maybe the occasional product review or best list. I also included channels that do just one of those, or do other stuff but focus on one of those. I generally avoided adding channels like racing/drifting, project car builds, and strictly car reviews. The results gave me a very donut-like inner/middle/outer diagram, with most channels being in the far outer ring. (Later on I made a different niche that was just "DIY Repairs" and it has a much more natural-looking diagram.) What I was thinking the II. Topics tab would extract from my crafted niche is a pattern showing what video topics naturally seem to gain viewer attention over time, and present these general topics in a prioritized list. For example, if a certain brand of tool gets a lot of attention from viewers regardless of the channel, knowing that would be helpful when crafting a future title like "Does Brand X Make The Best Screwdriver?". That sort of data may also point to more general things like oil change videos doing well over time, or everyone is making a "Top 10 X Things" list and it does super well (in my niche, I already know that "5 Things You Should Never Do With An Automatic Transmission" is weirdly popular, due to some drama that occurred with a certain channel, but I imagine there are more like that I haven't noticed yet). That sounds like something that would fall into "Patterns" but I suppose we'll see. Looking forward to whatever it ends up being!
@@CarsSimplified Excellent thinking once again pal! 👊😎 I think focussing on only diy repair makes more sense. Or at least not including channels that only do product reviews. People who look for product reviews are an entirely different audience than those people who want to repair things themselves. The latter group of course has a need to the occasional product review but channels who only do the reviews attract a different audience. That’s probably the reason why the first niche you mentioned looks a bit odd. Yea, I know that it would be cool if the tool does the pattern finding for you. You certainly have a good understanding what a pattern is. And the tool helps a bit with the special search suggestions for the guided research steps for trends and remakes. However, you should see the real experts use the tool to discover patterns! It is crazy how deep you can go there. And I want my users to learn this craft as well. The best tool could only detect basic patterns in regards to repeating keywords in the title but that’s just scratching the surface. Since these basic patterns are easy to find anyways, I rather keep it a manual process which then also gives users practice time to get better and better to find even more advanced patterns. All that takes human intelligence and that will pay off big time! Getting good at this type of research is truly the key to trigger Browse & Suggested. :)
Prost drauf Kumpel! :)
@@Kireth Yes, that can be very useful! I bet you already saw many channels on the edge of your own niche when you started to collect the channels for your core niche. The channels that you saw but ignored because they are outside of your core niche are those that hint at niches related to your own niche. Like in my example with the “make money online niche”. Given those there are multiple scenarios in which you want to explore them: If you want to pivot your niche into a different niche then choosing a related niche makes an easier transition. And more interesting for you probably, if you are already in the inner circle of your current core niche then it is a good idea to start addressing a larger audience. Related niches are potentially the avenue to take if such a related niche is one that has a bigger audience overall. Does some of that apply to you?
@@Morningfame It does - there's similar content to what I do but on completely different racing games. There's also content performing well on different games that hasn't yet been explored in my game. So it's helpful two ways, to see what is performing well in other niches and bring it into my niche, and to see what I do well in my niche that might be recieved well by other audiences Why do I read your comments in your voice 😅😅
@@Kireth Hahaha, darn that voice with the overly exaggerated intonation. ;) Oh, great idea! Although these other viewers play a different racing game, they certainly share the same excitement for racing as your viewers do. The chance should be high that you can produce a banger video if you learn from what was successful for the other racing game. Same for e.g. the German TH-cam tips niche. They do well when they borrow ideas from the English TH-cam tips niche. Please let me know once you successfully transferred an idea over like that. It would be interesting for me to see! 👊😎
My pleasure Nick! Oh yea, and for me it takes some time to teach it properly. But I am on it! In the end I know it is super versatile and some of my viewers know to use it in ways that I am not even capable of. So let’s see where we can take it! :)

@@Morningfame hi Nico - it was a little bit organically me and a little bit Erika Viera’s Boot Camp. One thing I invested a lot of time in was looking for videos that had way more views than their sub count. I have a few of those on my channel: they’ve been watched around 15k times and I am just shy of 2k subs right now.
@@KrisOver50 Kudos for your 15k views videos! What a success! Awesome, I hope the Burners filter comes in handy for you then. It is not exactly the same as views versus subs but it is independent of the ratio between active and inactive subscribers on a channel. So this allows you to find more valuable videos this way. That said, how did you find those videos before? Did you rather look at the latest videos or most popular videos on a channel? I get the feeling that I may improve something in the tool for the most popular videos...
@@Morningfame hi Nico - I would look first at the channels most popular videos. If there were more than about 3 years old, I would take that into account. Nothing I could quantify- just note it. I would also look through the latest videos and look for one that had significantly more views than usual. Keep up the great work!
@@KrisOver50 Awesome, thanks for letting me know Kris! Fyi, there happens to be a video age filter when you select the most popular videos in the II. Maybe that’s a big improvement for looking at the most popular videos! 😃✌️
Thanks Olayinka! Oh yea, I hope to find a good way to explain the keywords aspect. It’s a lot different than we are used to! But fyi, this is just a simple part of it. The main step in the process is the research in the II. Topics tab. I hope it’ll work well for you! :)
Awesome! Let me know any time if you have questions about the tool. And when you created a pattern for your next video idea then just make sure to mention the same main words in the video title of the video that you produce. If you remember the two examples in this video here, I would use “small youtubers” and “youtube monetization” for them. So essentially when you collect e.g. 5 videos in your pattern, you’ll quickly see that most of them use the same main words in their video titles. Use these words in your video title as well.
@@OLAYINKAJOHNSONflicks Sorry for the confusion! I didn’t mean that you should say the words in your videos. Instead you use those words in your own video title. That’s all. :)

Yes, it takes the video age into account, knowing that a young video cannot have as many views as a much older video. And considering the video age it marks those videos as Burners that performed particularly well for the channel.
I have collected 35 channels for my niche so far. I am on the outter-most edge. I only ever have arrow pointing away from me but never TO me. I'm hoping to change this.
Fingers crossed Vinny! Yes, that is actually the purpose of the tool. With the research you’ll reach more people in your niche and with that they start to discover you more via TH-cam’s recommendations and hence more arrows towards you start to show up. :)
Having high VPH and being a so-called Burner is not the same but it is indeed designed to tell if a video performs better than usual. This is what we look for because no matter how big the channel is, if they manage to create a video that performs particularly well then this means they successfully reach more new viewers. And in the end it is all about getting more views, right? 👊😎
Nice! I bet this one was probably a 1 of 10 or 3 of 10 in your snapshot card in TH-cam Studio. :) I hope the tool will help you create more and more of these! :)

I think you just forgot to make it avaliable in the last screen. Wait what are you tlking about talking about your first video with your new stuff. The second video is out does not appear. You are very much loved !!!
I am glad you enjoy this little series pal! Yes, sorry, the 3rd episode is not out yet. I realized that conveying all the info in short videos like these doesn’t do the information justice. So I decided to do a full online course like series that rather spans hours instead. It part of the 🎓 Academy tab in the tool that I demo here. Once I am done with this, I’ll wrap up this series here by publishing the 3rd episode as well. See ya, Nico
Haha, what a cliffhanger, right? ;) The gist is that we don’t really need keywords because Browse & Suggested work very different than Search. We only need to include the major words that the other videos - that we collected as a pattern - use as well. So in my two examples it would be “small youtubers” and “youtube monetization”.
@@Morningfame it would be interesting learning how to choose your competitors for this circle. The layers and how much of big channels or closer to your subscribers and view number. Example: the super big channels might have a way too broad audience so maybe adding channels with less than 100K subscribers could be more niched down? I hope you could talk about this channel sizes and more in depth of how to choose them for the new tool.
@@Ravizzoni I actually plan to do a live stream in about 10 days where I review the niches of as many users as I can. I bet this will give us a chance to dive deeper into the whole part if it. Indeed, great questions! There is actually an easy rule of thumb: Add all channels that target the same audience as you do. Actually, it is not really about your competition. It’s rather about the audience that your niche has. And that audience is represented by the channels in the niche. So if you look at a channel and decide whether to add it or ignore it then judge by their latest videos if most of these videos cater to the same interests that you cater to as well with your videos. And it doesn’t matter if a channel is large or small for that. As you see, this is a very different perspective. Does it help you to better decide which channels to add?
Absolutely! On the contrary actually. :) The strategy that is baked into this tool is something that currently the best TH-cam experts teach in their consultations and online courses with huge success. I believe in a few years every TH-camr will apply this as their main channel growth strategy. :)
This tool looks awesome, BUT for me it is not really working. The resulting list is super diverse, I cannot spot any patterns although having 11 pages of burner videos. Seems to me (my assumption) that the selection of who is related to my niche and how is not (step 1) was way to generic. Either my niche is too small and there are not so many related channels or I spread my net too wide and get burners that are all over the place without any recognizable pattern. Any idea how I can redefine this? Should I rather search for a specific term in step rather than my "My Niche"?
Excellent point Philipp! The research in step 2 hinges on a proper niche definition from step 1. How do you currently define your niche? Or asking in a different way, what criteria did you use to decide whether to add or ignore a channel in step 1? Just let me know and we can brainstorm how to improve your niche definition. :)
Cheers pal! Indeed, your video about monetization is clearly a burner video for your channel! The next time you cover monetization I recommend that you study the other successful monetization videos in our niche in detail. Watch all those videos, study what they say, how they edited the videos, read their comments. Take everything in that helps you to do an even better job for your viewers. 👊😎

(Later on I made a different niche that was just "DIY Repairs" and it has a much more natural-looking diagram.)
What I was thinking the II.
Now that is cool, Nico! I can hardly wait to start working with this! Thanks for all you do, my friend!!
That is awesome to hear Mike! I hope the research will feel smooth to you. :) Let me know if you have any questions along the way. Enjoy!
You are brilliant!
Haha, thanks Dave! I am super glad to finally have it ready for you. :) Let me know if you have any questions along the way. See ya!
Krank was du auf die Beine gestellt hast.
Vielen Dank Niko 🔥😆
Prost drauf Kumpel!
@@Juice-chan Super Sache! Ich hoffe, deine Recherche gibt dir gute Videoideen dafür. Lass mich wissen, wenn du dabei Fragen hast. Viel Spaß damit! :)
Nice one Nico 👍👍👍
Thanks a lot Kireth! Let me know if you have any questions about it. This is really an exciting new chapter for me and I am happy to share! :)
@@Morningfame do you recommend creating niches for niches you want to move into, or will that not see the suggested traffic benefit?
So it's helpful two ways, to see what is performing well in other niches and bring it into my niche, and to see what I do well in my niche that might be recieved well by other audiences
Why do I read your comments in your voice 😅😅
@@Kireth Hahaha, darn that voice with the overly exaggerated intonation. ;) Oh, great idea! Although these other viewers play a different racing game, they certainly share the same excitement for racing as your viewers do. The chance should be high that you can produce a banger video if you learn from what was successful for the other racing game. Same for e.g. the German TH-cam tips niche. They do well when they borrow ideas from the English TH-cam tips niche. Please let me know once you successfully transferred an idea over like that. It would be interesting for me to see! 👊😎
Thanks Nico, seems like it will take some learning, but what a great tool
My pleasure Nick! Oh yea, and for me it takes some time to teach it properly. But I am on it! In the end I know it is super versatile and some of my viewers know to use it in ways that I am not even capable of. So let’s see where we can take it! :)
Nico!!!!!! You have just saved me hours and hours of work! Thank you for doing this for us!!!!!!! 😍😍😍
Wow, high 5 Kris!! It sounds like you already practice the methodology that I baked into the tool. Where did you learn about it if I may ask? And since you already practiced something like this before, feel free to reach out to me with anything that you wish the tool to do differently or in addition so that you can indeed do everything in the tool now. Cheers! 😃🍻
Topics tab that allows you to either look at only 3+ years old videos or only those that are younger. Anyways, I am experimenting with a new idea today: seasonal trends. Maybe that’s a big improvement for looking at the most popular videos! 😃✌️
Awesome tool! I can't wait to test it out. Thank you for sharing❤️
My pleasure RJ! I hope it’ll give you good insights quickly. :) Let me know if you have questions along the way. Enjoy!
Can't wait already for the next episode. Kudos.
Thanks Olayinka! Oh yea, I hope to find a good way to explain the keywords aspect. It’s a lot different than we are used to! But fyi, this is just a simple part of it. The main step in the process is the research in the II. Topics tab. I hope it’ll work well for you! :)
@@Morningfame I really do hope so too. I'm already excited about the new tool.
@@Morningfame Apparently, my niche is short movies so there's no way I can pronounce my titles in the films. Or is there a better way I can do that?
@@OLAYINKAJOHNSONflicks Sorry for the confusion! I didn’t mean that you should say the words in your videos. Instead you use those words in your own video title. That’s all. :)
YOU ARE BRILLIANT! Thank you!
You flatter me Jennifer! 😊 Enjoy this tool! It really is the next big thing that I am building. It’s already fully usable together with the full-length lessons in the Academy tab that is like an online course where I teach you everything about this modern channel growth strategy. How is “burner” status calculated? (i.e. recency vs views or?)
Oohhhh, this is what I have been looking for, a replacement to VPH?
Having high VPH and being a so-called Burner is not the same but it is indeed designed to tell if a video performs better than usual. This is what we look for because no matter how big the channel is, if they manage to create a video that performs particularly well then this means they successfully reach more new viewers. And in the end it is all about getting more views, right? 👊😎
@@Morningfame for sure, the cool thing is I came up in the search as a burner video, woohoo
Nice! I bet this one was probably a 1 of 10 or 3 of 10 in your snapshot card in TH-cam Studio. :) I hope the tool will help you create more and more of these! :)
@@Morningfame thank you, it does look like it will
Hi I need the video that comes next in each video. For example, if the video is out it will appear here. However, then what happens it does not appear but it is already out.
I think you just forgot to make it avaliable in the last screen. Wait what are you tlking about talking about your first video with your new stuff. The second video is out
does not appear.
Looks brilliant! Is it available to Graphite level members?
Thanks pal! The tool works well for large and small channels alike. Check out the video description for the steps to get access. Cheers, Nico
@@Morningfame I will do, thank you Nico! 😄
I wanna hear the next’s video explanation haha
Is this tool still working greatly? I'll like to try for a movie channel.
can't believe my video showed up that is awesome since that video is doing good on my channel i should do a other one just like it
You forgot to link this video, as the end card of the previous one.
Wow, thank you so much!! I just added it. I am super glad that you caught that! Thanks again. :) -Nico
