Biggie switching his flow to mesh with bone, bizzys flow and range, going high to low, "beg my pardon to Martin, we ain't marching we shooting". Krays speed and layzies delivery, along with the production and hook makes it absolutely timeless.

This is a masterpiece/classic ✅ Stevie J. is known for nonsense today, but he produced the hell out of some of our favorite artists' albums in the 90s. Mariah Carey considers her Butterfly album from 1997 to be her magnum opus. My favorite album cut is 'Breakdown' ft Bone Thugs. She also speeds up her singing to mimic their rapping style. Worth a listen.
Biggie’s ‘life after death’ was released March 25, 1997. Just sixteen (16) days after he was killed. So so sad, Biggie is so very missed ❤️ Also, the guys of Bone Thugs n’ Harmony didn’t get to hear Big’s verse until after he died and his album was released. “Life after death” was a double album because about six months before his death Big, Lil’ Cease, and Charli Baltimore (a female rapper Big was dating when he died) were in a really bad car accident. Cease lost control of a rental car in the rain and the car spun out onto the other side of the highway and flipped several times. Cease (was driving) lost most of, if not all of his front teeth from smashing his mouth into the steering wheel and was thrown out of the car. Charli was partially thrown out of the car, she landed on the hood with a head injury which split her scalp open and a huge flap was hanging (they were able to stitch it up but she said if she ever had to shave her head, that it is a very large and nasty looking scar, but she thankfully was okay, no brain damage) and Big was front seat passenger and his leg got crushed under the dash board and they had to use the jaws of life to get him out. Big’s leg was broken in several places and he had to stay in the hospital/rehabilitation unit after having surgery to place plates & screws to fix his leg. So in that two months of doing physical therapy after surgery he just wrote and wrote. Big’s leg was still messed up when he was in California (before his death) and that is why he walked with a cane. Some Cali people were irritated by it thinking he was using it to look like a pimp or something because they didn’t know he had been in an accident. I don’t think any of his family, friends, or fans would want Big to be in a nasty car accident like he was, but it always made me think, what if he hadn’t been in the accident!?! ‘Life after death’ would’ve been a regular 10ish song album and he would’ve died before we heard some of the most amazing and classic Biggie songs! -some of Big’s people said the accident happened 24-48 hours after Big found out Tupac died. That Big was really upset over his death and was smoking and acting the fool, and ended up getting arrested and their vehicle towed. The car they got out of the tow impound was messed up so they took it to the dealer to be fixed and was given the rental (that they ended up crashing) to drive in the meantime.

Regarding Bone Thugs, it's crazy to me how some of the best flowing rappers ever came together at the same time in Cleveland and while they've influenced lots of rappers, it's never been close to duplicated.
I mean to be real, their flows were originally inspired (some might say copied) by Memphis Rappers. They been doing that stuff years before Bone Thugs, there was a whole beef about this topic at the time. Look up "Thuggish Ruggish Bustaz" for example by Tommy Wright No disrespect, they took Hip Hop and its sound to a whole next level, but lets also give respect where it's due.
Not only that, the way they pioneered harmony, vocalization, and melody within hip-hop (that, so many artists attempt to emulate today) is constantly undermined and overlooked to this day.

This was a fire one for sure. The natural follow up to this gotta be thug luv. I love both but i cant lie, the composition and delivery in thug luv is one of the most rememberable moments of that era. I was teen living in sweden when this came out and i was banging this so hard i had track on repeat in my walkman, recorded back to back thru the entire cassettetape 💪

Man,it’s so cool that you and your dad do this. It shows me that you guys are close, which is so great to see. Seeing y’all’s relationship made me spend more time with my father. I’m 45 years old and my dad is 71 and in the last decade we haven’t spent much time together. It’s my fault,I lost my wife in 2014 and I secluded myself from a lot of people. My dad and I growing up were best friends and we played tennis and golf and soccer together all the time. My dad was at every one of my tennis lessons from the time I was 7 years old till I was 16 when I went off to college on a tennis scholarship. I skipped 4th grade, that’s why I went to college at 16. Amazing track! One of my favorite ever. Wonderful reaction, love your Dad facial expressions when the change of flows came up.
I know, Dad is down for Bone Thugs more than Biggie u can tell.
My all time #1 song and I've never smiled so much seeing your dad reacting to each verse, every flow change etc. Brilliant video!
THE MOB ASK AND WE RECEIVED A GEM OF A REACTION 😁
One of my favorite songs EVER!!!
Bone thugs, Twista, do or die, tech n9ne...loving the beginning of some Midwest speed rappers.
Wow! Thanks so much for this. I'm 45 and was 20 years old in 1997 when this was released. I've never heard it before which is insane given how young I was at the time. It's an amazing song, loved every second and your Dad's reaction.
This will be forever a timeless masterpiece. Every verse was 🔥
I immediately fell in love with the instrumental because of how each instrument gets brought in individually to complete the beat
2:15 The piano
2:26 The horns
2:37 Drums
2:45 Handclaps
They were serving up the goosebumps with this one…🙌🙌🙌
Best rap collab of all-time!
This song is a masterpiece. Everything about it is 10/10
Phenomenal track. One of the greatest. Flows off the CHAIN.
"Days of our lives" and "shoot em up" are 2 great songs you should check out
Also love how your dad moves to the song, he is digging it.
I was in high school when this came out. Taking the bus to and from and this low rider would cruise up every day bumping this track. For weeks on repeat. It was the s***.
wow, what a memory to have. Nice. I think if it were me being the driver in your story, it would have made me feel so good to know someone had me as a memory blasting my favorite song on repeat on my way to work every day. That's awesome.
i think this is my all time favorite song!im so glad for this reaction.good job guys!!!
Just have to sa this, as a graphic designer in the music industry my whole life is album covers! Seeing you and your father actually respond and take the time to discuss things like the cover art is awesome and very much appreciated by alot of u in the community! Thanks and much love.
Thanks!
Thanks so much!!!!!
Still one of the dopest tracks ever.
But I just wanted to thank you guys for opening my eyes up to how important it is to be around your family, cause at the end of the day they are the only ones that will ever be there for you.
Thanks guys,I appreciate it!!!
Awesome to know that the channel’s had a positive influence, Tom! Music is such a great way to bring people together. Enjoy grooving with your dad :) - Kai’s dad
Chills!! I’ve been going back through the Bone Thug albums all week, such a warm blast from the past 🔥🔥🔥
It’s been awhile since I listened to this songs and kept getting chills lol. Love it
Appreciate the father but also the son who’s into this 90s era,the best era ever in hip hop no question!
i hope y’all fall in love with bizzy and listen to his solo shit!! he’s phenomenal, a legend who doesn’t get the recognition he deserves. His solo music back then was AMAZING and he’s still making bomb music now
I can’t believe I’m late to this idk if I was the first to request this track but I definitely was one to request it a long while ago so I’m so excited and satisfied with the fact that it was chosen to be reacted too, again thank you for always surpassing expectations FrontRoom!
You’re totally welcome, Manga madness! - Kai’s dad
“It’s Biggie and Tupac, together!”
Epic! 🤣
Literally listening to this song yesterday. One of my favorites
I can't wait, big fan of Bone Thugs
I thoroughly enjoyed this episode. Man your pops is the coolest. His ability to have open his mind and accept it hip hop the way he has is truly astounding... Appreciate the content guys
Bone laid their verses on the spot after being drunk and high. They had to wake them up to record. Biggie took it home. Bone didn't hear the finished product until after biggie passed.
Yesss! I was waiting for y'all to choose this one! After hearing them apart you just had to hear them together!!!!
I love how close captioning was keeping up and then just completely gave up when the second verse started lol. 🤣
LMAO
Your show makes me so happy to see the bond between father and son, I never had something like this but my love for music is something I never really get to share. You two are mad blessed ❤
I love this! It's the journey you guys have been on together that you understand and appreciate this collaboration. Fun fact. Bone Thugs is the only group to record with Tupac, Biggie, Eazy E, and Big Pun while they were alive. Legends!
My new favorite channel!!! I’m a 52 yr old woman and I connect with my 31 n 26 yr old boys thru music just like the two of you. Love it!
They use to smoke weed on my porch with my cousin happy I got to come outside and meet them from Cleveland periodt hands down I still Lenten to this song know all the words
The reciprocity between you and your dad sharing music and being open to new music is amazing. Appreciate loved ones because you will miss them more than you know.
Stevie J produced this 🤯
So many tears next please!!!!!!!!
One of the best reactions yet. The dad genuinely enjoyed the song. You can see it on his face. Like your work, watching from Puerto Rico. If you change it up a little, try reacting to Nobody by Nas & Lauryn Hill.
