Cherry Blossom viewing. Room review of Salamander Hotel, Washington DC.

Walking distance to the cherry blossoms! This video isnt about gambling, but MGM National Harbor is only a short car ride away lol! Salamander Hotel, Washington DC, basic room. I forgot to show there is a useable refrigerator. It is in the large cabinet. This hotel was absolutely lovely. Every person on staff that we encountered was friendly, helpful, and made us feel like welcomed guests. They were under construction while we stayed and it didn’t affect our experience in any negative way. I highly recommend! #washingtondc #Salamanderhoteldc #cherryblossoms #Cherryblossomswashingtondc

How were the beds, comfy? Was the construction an issue?

Beds were extremely comfy! I too was worried about the construction that I had read about in previous reviews, but not a problem at all. We never heard a thing during sleeping hours. Also it was still so beautiful, even with the lobby and lounge area not finished. The only disappointment caused by the construction was there really wasnt a lounge to sit and have a cocktail. They put a small temporary bar in the restaurant, but it didnt have the vibe you want from a lounge, as well as it closed really early. But it was a really lovely hotel! We had a great experience there!
