It is totally a beautiful bag! In terms of whether you keep it, I personally don’t mind if a more casual bag looks worn over time, but I think an elegant polished one like this experiencing smudges or creasing, would start to get on my nerves.
The bag is gorgeous & classy ,so keep it. It is natural to have crease with it because of the material used. 😊
"Dog Tag" confirmed that I should express my first thoughts. It instantly reminded me of the military issued uniform purses in a similar shape and pleather that pealed. I'd imagined that this beautiful bag would perform better, and I love that its almost half the price of the trending JM bag. Patent Leather is delicate and is best with minimal handling. You could also carry a clean cloth from sunnies if you must touch the front. Coach also repairs their goods.

I would keep it. I personally have a lot of bags, and this kind of bag would serve 2 purposes for me. 1. It is beautiful to display in your collection. 2. Special occasions.
So I would only use it a few times a year to achieve a certain look every now and the.

I plan on getting the red and black in gold hardware in patent leather because omg they are iconic but that creasing does worry me, too. I need to do a bit more research before committing to buying. Thanks for this video! Very insightful.

My daughter got this bag, as she was unwrapping it …it started to crinkle in little areas, she opened the flap gently and it started immediately creasing. She loved this bag but is returning it, she did not even get to put her things into and use it at all because she was afraid of how bad it would crease and crinkle. Really disappointing for the cost of the bag. I bought the pink patent tabby and so far haven’t had any creases or crinkling and I have used mine. The only issue with the pink patent is the fingerprinting…so far.
I love it too but saw the creasing too when taking the plastic off. All the Sammy creases but this one you can see it more because of the patent mirrow. I did end up returning it because I was too nervous to carry at 445. I too got 10 percent off. I will revisit the mirror collection when it goes on sale.

I think it's absolutely stunning ❤ I love it! 🪞I almost bought a Sammy in the faded blue but went with the Cassie 19 in faded blue instead since it was on sale. I watched another video of the Tabby 20 in this finish and she also commented on the finger prints but also said she had only worn it a couple times and already has scratches. I'm worried my OCD would get the better of me with all the smears but I do have to say I may end up getting one if it ever goes on sale!!

I have a Sammy in the burnt orange. I do notice creases when I open her but they are not noticeable once I close the top. Not sure I would ❤ her as much if the creases were very noticeable. My take, it’s a beautiful bag and if you ❤ it keep it. I’m planning to add this bag to my collection before the end of the year. Hopefully, you’ll do an update by then.

I have the Sammy in black calf leather. There is light creasing when you open the bag but disappears when it is closed. Another TH-camr saw this bag in store and the creasing was very noticeable (lot of opening and closing by customers). Personally that would bug me. Same issue with the Tabby’s. Must be the patent leather used for the shine collection.
I got the tabby 20. I love it, I’m totally ok with the creases.
I love it! However I didn't get that style only because I know im not a top handle person and it was a bit dressy for my casual wardrobe
I got the Chrome coach tabby with a removable top handle and easier to style and the price point was easier.
That creasing is to be expected with a structured bag. Keep the bag! 😊

I agree with @jerseyjulia. The bag is totally beautiful. I am looking at the tabby in the metallic. That particular bag you purchased would stress me out over the crease at that price point. Smudging would not bother me because I would just carry a cloth. That creasing will overtime worsen. I have other patent leather bags and they do require some neediness. I love them but this larger statement piece and the 💵 for that crease, I would not do it again. Hope that helps 🤓. Still the bag is gorgeous.

I just got a Sammy 21 in the faded blue, and I don’t notice any real creasing. Maybe a little when you open the bag, but it so far has smoothed right out when I close it. I only just got it a few days ago, though, so I haven’t used it for long.
I’m so on the fence with buying from the mirror collection. It’s so pretty, but also maybe not my own particular style? I’ve become a full blown Coach collector, though, and I feel like the collection is memorable enough that I want something from it. Other patent bags of mine have gotten cloudy and lost their shine over time, though, so that is a consideration, too.
I think it's a gorgeous bag! That said, I hate that clasp. It's a two hand clasp which is cumbersome to me. It's too bad for me as a lot of bags have it. For me, all the fingerprints and wrinkling and scratching would bother me. Flap bags can get those wrinkles, but those seem magnified. My quilted madisons have no wrinkling. Only you can decide how you will feel about it. Maybe just use it for special occasions?
The most beautiful metallic bag yet…. I like the Sammy, but that material will need more “ babying” than I can offer. Lol collectors item for sure …. but I’m leaning towards the light grey Bandit. 😍 **HBD!**

It’s a pretty bag and it’s having a moment, but I wouldn’t keep it. I feel like it will go out of style quickly and it’s not a bag you can wear casually. I don’t think it will hold up over time. This is leather covered in plastic and it will scratch. It’s too expensive for what it is.
I saw a video from @YellowSparksJoy, who has the Sammy larger size in yellow, and she went to look at this mirror Sammy at the boutique. She commented on the creasing and said though hers creased when she opened it, the creases couldn't be seen once it was closed again. The Sammy has a beautiful profile, and love the way this mirrored version looks, but the creasing might be too much for me. ... Commented too soon. When I saw it on you crossbody, changed to a keep. Looks great on you!
I went to Coach store and yes it creased as soon as I open it on display, I got the red patent one and so far I had no issues with creasing…must be a different material

For the price of the bag the creases would drive me crazy. I’ve also seen they scratch easily but it’s a very gorgeous bag!!

such a beautiful bag but honestly i would return it. that’s a pretty big crease for not having used it yet which means over time it could possibly get worse.

It’s beautiful but I don’t love the creasing and I think the mirror metallic makes it so unforgiving visually for that. At least it’s on the back, but that’d bother me.

Hi!! I actually love this bag so much lol the creasing hasn’t gotten worse it just has stayed the same every time I open it. I wear this to every dinner and occasion I go to and I’ve now bought 2 pairs of shoes to match her 😂🥰 I think the only issue is that it’s not super easy access so it’s not an everyday bag for me but it is so great for evening use!

It's a really unique beautiful bag - If you really love it, I say keep it. Maybe just use it for special occasions and not every day wear if you are nervous about the creasing and smudges. Maybe carry the cloth in the bag if it fits to wipe it when needed. Some bags are so unique they have their quirks but sometimes it's worth it, especially if you love everything else about it and don't have anything like it in your collection.
I have the Sammy in the teal blue but for what ever reason the metallic color isn't a color the draws me in

There’s no doubt this bag is beautiful, but I would return it. It’s already wrinkling, not a good sign for wear. I don’t think you’re going to enjoy wearing it because you’re going to be worried about it constantly, I would be too.
I have a metallic Rebecca Minkoff Edie bag I purchased several years ago. It is silver metallic crinkled leather and it is beautiful and has absolutely no signs of wear. I think the fact that the leather is crinkled is why the bag has worn so well, being metallic.

I’ve been dying to get the black with gold. Just waiting for it to go on sale. As for your bag. It is stunning. I think I would ask myself how much will you use it. The finger prints and crinkles would drive me insane. If you can easily pay for it, not use it all the time….then yeah I would get it. I noticed all your purses on the shelves. Obviously money isn’t a factor 😂…….Oh to be young again. I would get it AND the black with gold lol 😘

Oh no that crease. I believe you have a month for returns. You still have time for a return if it bothers you a lot. I don't know if I would return it it depends how much I love it.
I think the creasing would bother me but not the fingerprints. Beautiful bag but probably not for every day.

Its beautiful. However, it enters every room before I do. So magnatizing. It might look really great with some serious wear and tear.
Patent leather is beautiful, but it will crease eventually and it won't look pretty. That's the biggest downside with patent. You have to be super careful with how you open the flap in order to make it last a little longer 😢 I don't think the bag is worth it for that price. The creasing drives me insane 😅
