Those markings are for the 1941 Collection. It’s supposed to be Coach’s highest quality leather. Such a gorgeous bag.

I just ordered the same bag. Like you, I was surprised it was shipped in that small box. When I pulled up in my driveway and saw the package at my front door I was like oh no. But, it was fine. Oh, just for future reference, Coach boxes open on the long side (where the paper tape is). Then the lid opens up easy and the bag is lifted out. 😊

That stamp is from the 1941 line. That line has since been discontinued but Coach still uses the stamp to mark their highest quality bags 💛
