A perfect song for a Job season, I have a friend who is currently in the season and when I heard the song, my God I was in awe of the power behind the words, they reassure one of God's promises in the midst of a dry cold season. Thank you God and thank you Hillsong worship. The waiting becomes easier.
This just touched my soul this morning. We all have those hard moments that we just want to be over and being patient is hard when you are hurting but to know if God is taking a long time to work a great plan for us, isn’t it worth the wait? Even in pain to know something great will come after and that multiple “down” seasons are just that, temporary. I know when my mother died when I was little I never thought that could bring anything good but I think it has made me a much more empathetic person, a kinder mom (I used to be angry a lot as a kid). I miss her but she was suffering with cancer and God was kind and released her from that when she could no longer fight. Ironically the same thing that angered me and pushed me away from him as a child has made my Faith stronger than it would have ever been without that pain in my life.
If U are not done working, God am not done waiting. ....experiencing winter for the first time in a new country away from home....and the delima trying to fit in and holding on to my faith in God, trusting Him for the best He has for me.....God am still waiting! ! !

I sang this song for my work team at our Christmas party last year. We'd all been going through massive challenges with a workplace overhaul and many of us experiencing personal difficulties as well. It was so well received by my colleagues thankfully, all of us coming from varied backgrounds. I believe the message of HOPE in the hard times is universal, but it is one of the main strands of the Christian faith. It's the reason we flourish under persecution. Worship like this is a joy, a pleasure, privilege, and I don't know how anyone can say worship is boring or why would I want to do THAT all the time [re: heaven]? It's CORE! I could do this 24/7. Thank you for being Spirit led, for the PAUSES - Benny's song was very moving.... and the pauses physically (?) demonstrated the waiting voiced in the melody - excellent way to make the song SING to the soul. Just..... just awesome!
