Great effort! Congrats to your courage and persistence! I dream of putting a Citroen DS shell as a two-door Coupe on a SM chassis, as the Citroen factory did originally as prototypes in 1968… quite similar process. I haven’t found your courage yet 😢 I look forward to seeing your progress 👍
Always watching out for updates on this.. looking great gives me inspiration to get mine finished, do you think it will be rigid enough without a roll cage? Keep going with the updates 👍
Thanks man. I reckon it'll be rigid, and certainly structurally sound. Let's not forget the original homologation Sport quattros didn't have roll cage, plus they also haven't got the roll cage strengthening I've added into the sills and rear quarters. Seeing as I've now hacked off the b-pillars, I'm also going to add strengthening here too.
I wonder what your employer/clients think when you come to assist with their IT issues and see the state of you pinkies 🙌… IT guys are not normally very DIY to say the least… do they ask ‘did tou fall over’ 😂
😂😂 Don't worry I keep my hands hidden behind my laptop screen... mostly. But also, there's no hiding from my employer as they watch the videos. In fact, on a couple of the videos I'm wearing my company branded tee shirt.
Great work! Looking forward to the end result. This is a Swedish guy also building an S1: th-cam.com/video/W7eAPLvW_58/w-d-xo.htmlsi=siK7-svGKVKANGT5 Happy holidays! /David from Sweden
Nice to see your progress - little by little, bit by bit! 😀
Yep, it'll be finished by this time next decade!

Nice to see you back always interesting to watch
Hey, thanks!
I'm not sure if it's interesting to watch, or just like a slow car crash 😆
Great that you’re a still kicking! Keep up! Lovely holidays!
Thanks... I'm determined to get more done this year!

Mate, if I can do it, so can you. Get it filmed, and on TH-cam!

Are those steel toecap flip flops?
…invisible steel toecap flip flops indeed. You can tell they are working, as I still have all my toes… mostly!
