I have a very similar mix bus / mastering bus chain. Not the same hardware exactly, but send it out to hardware, summed in hardware (for me, it's a console), then back in with extra plugins on the backend. It's good to see a similar workflow. Nice vid!

Unfortunately yes, they aren’t being made. But I believe someone bought the design and was talking about making them again. Maybe this video can help make that happen!
Alternatively, you can pick up a Jet City JetStream ISO ii. I've had mine for about 5 years and it's been amazing. Easy to swap out speakers as well for a change of flavor.

He’s using actual hardware to mix. So if your talking about in the box like plugins In the DAW then he’s not using that
