so many good memories of going to brown county as a kid just to go to the museum it broke my heart when it left there now little nashvilles kinda cheezy
John's sister, Audrey, didn't give her brother's wooden gun to anyone. It was stolen from her little home in Maywood. Fortunately, it was recovered and returned.
It was said that he gave it to his sister when he came home, and she gave it for a song as I remember. That's if it ever existed. He has one in a picture along with the Thomson he stole in Lake County Jail (he stole 2), that one being Porter County's loaner. FBI got it out of Lake Michigan after the girls at the apartment threw it out after JD was killed. FBI headquarters displayed it for years. It's thought his lawyer Piquette got a real one to him. and that the jail personnel were in on it.
Yes, they will never be able to make the John H Dillinger museum anything like what Mr Joe Pinkston had in Nashville. We do miss going with our grandmother, John's niece, so we can hear her talk about growing up with her Uncle John. All of our family letters and pictures are what we miss the most.
WHO CARES ABOUT JOHNNY DEPP? THAT WAS JOE'S COLLECTION! JOHNNY DEPP WOULDN'T HAVE SEEN JACK OR SHIT WITH OUT JOE BEING ALIVE! I was lucky enough to know Joe when the wax museum was in Nashville, he was my friend. I love and miss him! RIP JOE
A simple question is asked early : ''you have a lot of memoribilia - is it genuine'.The long and winding answer doesn't say yes.It says there's a lot of artifacts that tell you what was going on at that time. There's a car''like the one Dillinger would have stolen''...Basically its a room full of newspaper clippings.I want a refund and i didn't even pay to watch.
All of these items are authentic. Now, they may have a duplicate on display so the original item isn't on display. John's sister, Audrey, owned many of the items that are now part of the John H Dillinger museum.
