- Modbus TCP communication on a real industrial application using a Portenta Machine Control, Opta, a temperature sensor, and the Arduino PLC IDE.

Amazing video! Please, keep making these tutorial videos covering PMC and Opta. There's a lack of this kind of information elsewhere in the internet.
I agree. I purchased the PMC and will soon purchase the opta to control my powder coating oven. So far I’m very happy with the product. I hooked up a thermometer
Great video! Could you do a video for Modbus RTU as well?
Can somebody explain how is possible that in this video the PLC IDE version 1.0.4 available for the download , but when I search it, its still only 1.0.3 on the official Arduino site?
can put a google drive link on which you can have the arduino ide plc setup file the one you downloaded and installed on your machine because the one on the official site lacks the setup tools and when I install at home it says setup failed please thank you🙏
goooood👌
On the router i can't se any new device, the activity lights on the Opta are blinking tho
we need the PLC IDE version 1.0.4 asap
That supports configuring and accessing the mean features like wifi and bluetooth. The dependence on sketches and libraries from standard Arduino is ridiculous.
im waiting for this official arduino example for TCP
Pretty soon!
Thank you, if all the possible communication protocol that this PLC can do @@jcarolinares
arduino portenta
The PMC has terrible input reading accuracy. Caused major issues for the equipment I installed it in. Do not buy.
Do you mean for Analog inputs? I was going to use this to read a vacuum pressure sensor (1-5v signal)
