    Also I just want to say that if you want do an under-layer before painting over like gray clay I would recommend using liquid gesso

      I use foam mat as a work surface. Wooden board will work too

      For sculptures Laguna Mexo air dry clay works better

    if you dont let if fully dry to get more soften in order to remove the piece without cracking

    I’m doing little experimenting and I need to apply air dry clay to the cardboard, is this ok to do ? Any tips? Thanks

      Cardboard should be sealed first with acrylic medium or gesso.

      At this moment Mexo self hardening clay is my favorite

      For panda I used Laguna Mexo self hardening clay. It works better for sculptures

    If I want to use das clay for making a mask. Obviously I'm aware that it drys hard....

      Air dry clay strong enough for decorative artworks. It is not as strong as real clay. To make air dry clay stronger user sealer or varnish
