    The pyramid casing stone being made of limestone is something not a lot of people think about, even the academics.
    One of the most popular theories surrounding pyramids is that they were all capped with "golden" pyramidions.
    Of course, why ancient Egyptians would top a their incredibly reflective pyramids with what would be a completely *invisible* golden topper is unknown to *literally* everyone.
    It's far more likely pyramids were capped with black pyramidions, which just so happens to be the only examples we have left of actual pyramidions.
    Most egyptologists that aren't going for ancient alien money believe that the black was more likely as it would've contrasted with the heavily reflective limestone casing stones.

    For the destruction that movie sets bring to an area, I would consider $10k a day very cheap for a Hollywood studio. Very Cheap. They probably paid multiple times more just for the accommodations for all of the actors/staff making the movie. Something tells me that they probably spent that much on just mundane expenses every day alone. Of course it sounds like a lot, but that would only amount to $300k a month. Movies can cost more than a couple hundred million. That is chump change.
    Sources? Angelina Jolie made $7 million from the film and filming took took place from July 30 to November 30, 2000. That is 4 full months. She made 6x more in that amount of time than they would have had to pay even if every single stinking day was filmed at Angkor Wat.
    I just dont think that locations price is high at all, except for maybe its CHEAP price to film there.

    The clapping effect at chichen itza is so weird. You'll start clapping and will hear you know... yourself clap. But you take two steps to the right and your claps begin to sound almost like a tennis ball being hit by a racquet. You have to be in a very specific location for the sound waves to bounce off the top just perfectly, but I thought it was the coolest thing ever experiencing it in person.

    • @BasilRefaey80
      @BasilRefaey80 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      the CE is a roman term!! just like when numbers are like
      I , II , III , IV , V ,, VI and so on
      but the AD is an English term
      or this what I think maybe...
      but before posting my reply
      I decided why not look it up for me and for you
      ......................
      CE (Common Era) is the secular equivalent of AD (anno Domini) which means “in the year of the Lord” in Latin. According to TimeandDate, either designation is acceptable by the international standard for calendar dates, although scientific circles are more prone to using the BCE/CE format.
