The rice paper rolls work best when everything is room temperature or cold, hot food will burn through the delicate paper, soak them in warm water not boiling
She did say to do wraps in warm water, but that her water was still hot
The island/counter move was *the* move!!! ✨🧡
I’m so glad I did it!!✨👌🏻
You need to soak the rice paper really quick in COLD water. It still needs to be firm and it will soften while you fill them😊
1. Not being able to feel comfortable in any clothing and change 7 time a day is the most relatable thing ever!
2. Rice paper doesn't need to be dunked in hot water. Lukewarm or even cool water will do, it just takes a bit longer to soften (which is perfect because it gives you the time to layer everything on before it becomes one with your surface).
Love your charcuterie!
Wow! That last plate looks so delicious 😃😋
It was such a great dinner 🤤✨💛
Julia! You inspired me to get back in the kitchen! Those dishes look so good!! And just wanted to say, I love your channel’s content and your sincerity and originality. You deliver such a positive message to others and I love following you on your daily adventures!
Awe!! Thanks so much 😊 your kindness is truly appreciated and reminds me why I do this, to connect with lovely people ✨
this one really felt like hanging out with you, thanks for that (and your recipe shares of course, I wanna make kimchi now) 🌼
So happy to hangout 💛✨
Using regular room temp water, submerge no longer than 10 seconds, apply fillings and working quickly, you don't want it too soft once you get to the rolling stage.
Definitely inspired by the homemade kimchi!!😍
Girl, that dinner begged for a glass of wine😂😂DIVINE😋😋
I knowww! I should’ve indulged 🍷✨ lol
I love these videos. Vegan foodies are my fave! If also love to see an updated beauty products/routine as far as what clean vegan products you use!
i loved this video. just you being you, vegan food, your laugh.
Thank you for your support love 💛✨😊
You always inspire me to “make it work with what I got”!
What Would *Julia* Do
How beautiful your quote so quote home turned out💔
I love this vlog so much! You have a wonderful personality. I enjoyed everything about this one.
Awe thank you so much for tuning in 💛
Im korean subscriber. Im so surprised and glad you make kimchi!! I cant expect you make it in there. And i have some tip to make kimchi. In my house don't use gochujang in kimchi. Use much more red pepper powder and crushed garilc. I hope you like kimchi😊
So inspiring ❤ thanks
for rice papers use cold water not hot! thats what i do and they never rip (: and just dip it for literally one second and then remove it, it wont be all the way soft but it softens as it sits on the plate and you add the toppings
not this video making me hungry lmao looks so bomb!
I bought one of those about 2 to 3 months ago and I love making guacamole. I also can make chickpea salad to go on an almond wrap which is really good and a good source of protein.
I love how you measure everything with your ❤, I do that too, it feels so weird measuring out spices and vinegar🌱 the food looked delicious and I could really tell how you felt and enjoyed the process of taking your time and spending the whole day cooking!🥰 beautiful video😊
Awe thank you so much!! Measuring with the heart creates trust in the heart 💛✨🌿
Wow 🤩 ❤
that charcuterie board dinner looked damn devine wow 😍
for the rice paper roll, you should use cold water instead of hot water :)
Hi from the UK, love this video, experimenting like we all do in real life, instead of making it perfect for the vlog! ❤
Exactly!! I like to keep things real because I’m just living life like everyone else lol 💛✨
Love your content, thanks so much! 🙏🏻
Also make sure your rice wrappers aren't a combo of tapioca, they're tougher to wrap.
For the wraps, dont use warm water, use room temperature water 😊
Your date peanutbutter bites would be even better with dark chocolate on top (melted before).❤
The plan was to roll them in melted dark chocolate after they froze, but they were taking to long😢
Yay another video!!!! Love ya
Love ya too😘

Hiii Julia, I live in CT and would love to know which shop you visited for those veggie buns and tofu? 🌼
It’s off of kloof street in Gardens! It’s called Soy Joy, if you look up Asian market, it will come up ☺️
I’m first!!! Looks so good Julia :)
Yay! Thank you!💛
Love your videos, food looks great. Your so cute, keep up the good work.
Also about cooking: you do this for a living now so it makes sense to feel burned out! I don't necessarily have the answer but feel free to experiment with your approach to food or food videos and not have them as much in the forefront or feel the need to always produce something different!

I notice you eat Lindt chocolate. I’ve never found it without milk 😢 or do you not mind the milk?
Lindt makes dark chocolate with no milk in it in several countries, we have like 15 different flavors of dark, milk-free Lindt chocolat here in France. 😊
Nice 1
Invests in blender but not baking sheet, that’s Mr girl, lol she has her priorities together
😂😂😂 I’m glad someone understands me!
You are g l o w i n g in this video!

Wood in the oven?
Move your knife away from the edge of the counter woman. 😭
When you brought out the boiled water, i was like i hope shes not gonna use that for the rice paper because thats asking for disaster LOL xD
