So glad for a new video, Hayden! I've missed you. I would love to be driving that tractor. Looks like Dibs still enjoys riding along. Looking forward to your upcoming planting videos before too long. Thanks for posting!😊
Yeah spring field work is going to be just around the corner up here in Kansas...just got the 770 out of the shop from winter inspection...keep up the great work!!
It is good to see you again! I spent the latter part of last year with my dad watching your journey up through the country. He truly enjoyed your work. As old farmers, we know what you go through. Dad has gone to "another field" and is happily working with Mom again. Thanks, Hayden, for all your good work. Lastly, does anyone know why the hydraulic couplings are always backwards!? Thank You!
Glad to see you back but still wondering how many hrs y’all put on a combine in a year only reason asking is I had 1100 hrs on a 915 in one year in 1974
We will plant it around February 14th so that we can harvest it ≈June 1st (weather pending of course). It takes ≈108 days to grow and be ready to harvest. There isn’t really a “deadline” for spring wheat we just would like to plant it at the date we chose so when we cut in South Texas we can make it back home and cut our own before we have to head north for the harvest run. Selling wise differs on which place has a better price at the time. Thanks for the question Roy!
@@HaydenOnHarvest Thanks for the reply!! Do the same elevators that buy hard red winter wheat also buy this spring wheat? Do they have to keep it separated in storage? What is the end use of this spring wheat? Thanks
I think your trying to tell us that the more clay content the soil has the stickier it is( harder to work when wet ). as for that golden hour ... i've experienced the opposite ... snow plowing usually starts in the evening typically, that being said when you've been out all night plowing and the sun hits the horizon in the morning right in your face, you realize just how long you've been at it and you instantly get 10X more tired :(
@@HaydenOnHarvest I've always liked DP. Use to be sugar not this processed corn sweetner. MT Dew was GREAT before Pepsi bought it. But then as a yut is use to take my nickel down to the soda fountain for a lemon-lime phosphate. You should try the Dr. Thunder if you're in a pinch.
@@HaydenOnHarvest Look for the 12 oz glass bottles of Dr Pepper. They are made with real sugar and taste like the real DP because they are!! Everything tastes better out of glass too!!
Your gunna regret using the Skf products from napa lol I bought 4 u joints from them , all of them have failed In not many miles and one pair blew up on my front drive shaft and smacked my transfer case, used a couple of their bearings, junk, don't buy skf lol
We use this implement a handful of times a year and if we are not using it, it sits outside all year so it’s not really a big deal lol. But I’ll keep you updated if they go out or not haha.

I have it wrote down somewhere I would have to find it lol
What is the planting window for spring wheat there? Where do you have to take it to sell?

Hi, Hayden and Dips
Heavy tillage on soil that light and sandy? 😮
Is that lone tree significant? Might pull it out .
Glad to see you posting again, what drone do you use for videos?
Mini 3 Pro but I recently got a mavic 3 pro as well which I’ll be testing out :)
@@HaydenOnHarvestcool, I got the mini SE 2 for Christmas so I’m hoping to get some harvest videos
I figured you were back in college and no time to be videoing. I always enjoy your videos

Have you tried Dr. Thunder at Walmart for half the price of Dr. Pepper? Good to have you back again. Hope your year is a prosperous one.
Nothing beats Dr.Pepper Lee…

How do like driving you pick up hands free?
welcome back
What part of Texas do you plant spring wheat?
We farm in Central Texas.
Have you seen that Case AF11? Thoughts?
Don’t want to sound stupid but what is the difference between winter wheat and spring wheat you plant it around the same time if I’m understanding it
WHY DO YOU LEAVE TREES IN MIDDLE OF FIELDS?
Haydens back ye ha
Did you get your engine in your semi truck already?
You need sun glasses
