I have to be honest, it is hard to quantify a 6x reduction in noise level, but even after laying on this mat for the first time, it is distinctly quieter than the previous model. With a thicker mat, better thermal protection and a much better valve, the new NeoAIR Xlite NXT is without a doubt worth the upgrade if you are in the market! I have always loved my Xlite, but the new NXT version takes the cake!
