I love seeing Christian Slater and Gary Oldman smiling over their performances watching the playback. They all knew they were making something special.
It always amazes me how many people don't know about this movie. This is one of the best scenes in movie history, and I knew it the first time I saw this movie so many years ago.
R. I. P. Tony. I drive over Vincent Thomas Bridge everyday to work an think about him once in awhile. I know his brothers death affected Ridley IMMENSELY.
What a way to go. Used to also use it to get to work everyday. The thought of going over the edge is frightening. But great airtime if you’re ready to go.
At the end of this clip, Christian Slater tells Gary Oldman, (paraphrased) "You don't have to like me, and I know I'm annoying when I talk all the time but this is great work we're doing and I love you." From what I can hear.
One of the best scenes ever. Gary Oldman is amazing.
Wow !!! What a transformation !!! He is so sweet and calm when he watches the scene in the monitor !!! 😊
Masterclass in acting for everyone on set
It takes so much effort to bring just a couple of minutes of finished film to life.
dont forget the editing-after all this
Even outside the frame of the movie, on set... he still delivers the tension.. wow!
Gary Oldman one of the best actor in the world
My favorite scene of all time!!!

They had to at least rehearse the lamp shade bit several times, cuz Gary lands it all on one take here.
Why did Tony Scott commit suicide. Anybody know the truth?
