Fantastic explanation
Overnight the wind gusts on the Confederation Bridge that connects the provinces of New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island reached 185 kph (115 mph) and was a steady 115 kph (84 mph). My wife's family sent pictures from the south side pf PEI. They all live in the Wellington area. The roof was torn off the Evangeline school. There's a lot of flooding. Some cottages between Cape Egmont and Egmont Bay were washed away. It's a mess. We were there in 2019 staying in our motorhome when Dorian hit. It was a ride, but this is a worse storm.
What caused the term hurricane to change to cyclone?
