    Man I'm so happy to see Ben on your channel. I have told anyone who would listen about this man's music. So much depth and so full of meaning. Enjoy

    Benjamin's music absolutely helped pull me through the hardest times I've ever encountered in life so far. Such a great catalog.
    Highly suggest him and his wife's band " The lost dog street band" as well!

    I was just introduced to this artist because of the two of you. Thank you. Guess I better subscribe. This 66 year old American from Arkansas is looking forward to more reviews by the two of you.

    Benjamin has some of the purest lyrics you'll find. He is a storyteller. Also , check out his band with his wife : The Lost Dog Street Band .
    Edit: the 11030 tattoo on his neck is the universal Hobo Zip code. Traveler

    Thank you, thank you for reaching to Benjamin Tod. I hope that you both will do more reaction to either his solo career or with his wife and their band Lost Dog Street Band. Either or Benjamin writes the song coming from the struggles of addiction, the weight that addiction affected his relationship with his wife. Using Again and War Inside Me are two outstanding songs
    Haze fill his eyes references the aging of his grandfather.

    Benjamin Tod has an amazing story. You should check out Using Again or Sorry For The Things by him. Or check out Lost Dog Street Band, which is his wife and him.

    this song means a lot to me, my father who I fought with from 15-35 has been dying from cancer the last two years and has been hard but has seen our relationship restored as I take care of him and my mother. I have no family where I live in rural Appalachia but him and my mom who has dementia, and they have no money to pay for someone to care for them, and I feel it is God's Providence that it was I that was the one to give you my career to do this and not.my wealthy brothers who never came back home after leaving at 18.

    He has way to many top notch songs to even know where to begin... If you like this check out some Ian Noe, Stephen Wilson Jr, or Hayden Karchmer The Hill Country Devil who is friends with Ben. Ben has covered one of Hayden's songs and even wrote a song about him called Haydens Lament.

    I have to say I thought the singing of it was kind of loud and harsh. It felt like he was screaming the lyrics too often.

    • @daveyg77
      @daveyg77 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That, my friend, is passion. Benjamin Tod has written all of his songs from real life experiences. And none of his music is recorded in a studio with recording technology which betters your voice. Some of your favorite singers wish they could sing like him. There’s a difference between trying to sound perfect singing a song that someone else wrote for you and diving into your soul to make true art. No record companies telling you what to do, just pure raw talent.

      @daveyg77 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you haven’t, listen to “Rich Men North of Richmond” by Oliver Anthony and tell me if it’s “kind of loud and harsh”. Then, after listening to it, ask yourself why he turned down an $8 million record deal. Hollywood is not real life.
