Quick answer for anyone wondering: there's some John blocks by the level at the first jump- up, with seemingly no way past, as there's a wall. There is actually a hidden hallway behind those blocks with the other entrance in one of the non hub areas in the crumbling tower of pizza. Yeah I'm smart.
the boss rush was done so smoothly that(since this was the first time I saw this part) I didn't know it was actually a boss rush and I thought there was just a cutscene of Peppino going ham on all the bosses.
