    I have followed your channel for +4 months by now I'm always in a loop. It's the first time I comment but yeah, I have move 3 times in 3 months! The flat renting here is crazy and to find the right place is a madness. Thanks for sharing always!

    You manage to adapt yourself in many parts of London. It's really admiring. :) Once I moved from Harrow to Edgware (which are really closed) and I felt completely panicking. :D

    Nice, I really admire the fact, that you still are so into moving and I'm happy for you (now that you have a garden, AWESOME!) I'm currently in London, staying in Camden Town, let's see about the Northern Line, never noticed it was so terrible before. Maybe we'll see each other :) What exactly don't you like about the tube line?

      It's fine - you speak almost like a native Brit. I had to listen to you speak for a few minutes to detect your slight German accent.

    Hi. You should try Crouch End. Its right next to Muswell Hill. I have been living here 8 years and I love it. Its like home to me. Muswell Hill is nice, Im there quite often as well, but I prefer Crouch End. Its also closer to underground (Turnpike Lane, Finsbury Park, Archway - if you want to use your favourite Northern line 😆)

    Yeah, very interesting to know about past flats and the neighbourhoods. £400 is great. I pay $466 plus 1/3 of the water usage for my flat. It's a 3 unit house with two in front and one in the rear. I live in one of the front units. I live alone and enjoy it. I live in what's called Mid-City in the middle of everything. I've been in my current flat for 7 years. I was Uptown for my first 3 years in a converted garage. Before that I lived on the East Coast in Baltimore, Maryland. Anyway where I am now is my favourite flat!!!! I do send you muchlove and smiles!!!!❤️ I loved the vlog!!! 🤜🏻🤛🏻

    Well, in Cambridge I've lived in: Shared house with other 5 people, super small bedroom (3 months), crappy cold but big flat (7 months), super creepy house share in nice room with ensuite (1 week!!), house share as a lodger only sharing with the landlady (9 months), and I'm moving to a small studio in 2 weeks. So I've lived in 4 places in a year and a half, and soon it will be 5. I think that your situation isn't that bad... xD

    Like a lot of area's round east finchley - muswell hill (as you said), highgate, totteridge and whetsone and archway is quite smart now they've invested lots round the tube station. You must have covered most sides of London now!! :o

    • @JenDre
      @JenDre  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      never been north west- i would have considered kilburn or like willesden green, but the flat prices are mostly ridiculous! also never lived far west, like acton, ealing - would not really suit my commute at this point. Love North London!

    You’ve 6 places in 6 years. Not really bad. I have my 8th place in 3 years 9months London stay.
    While flat hunting, I always prefer North London like you. I
    don’t know why maybe because I’m Turkish then I want to be close to Turkish
    community.

    hi! thanks for the lovely video! I was wondering, since you mentioned in your video that you lived in some places that were really cheap- can you give me some advice where and how to find a cheap but not too dodgy room? also i do not want to rent long term, just a few months. is there a website for sublets? your advice is much appreciated!!!

    • @JenDre
      @JenDre  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'd never spend loads on rent tbh. I hate it really :D So I'm always looking for ages to get a good deal. Wouldn't compromise on size as much anymore, but there's no way I am spending most of my income on rent.....

      Have you done a video about how to avoid being ripped off by landlords who steal your deposit, rent out dangerous accommodation, refuse to do repairs etc.? There are a lot of very bad landlords in London.
