can you clean multiple records with this, how often should you replace the water, do you have to buy the attachments, if you do, where can you buy them?
I bought a similar machine real cheap and built the rest of the stuff , Yes it does buzz a lot but not as bad as in this video. I also got a Project VC-s vacuum machine which works good as well, Some times I use both. But, I NOT Use Isopropyl alcohol or Distilled water, What I do use is "Reverse Osmosis Water" I got two gallons of it for $0.98 at Whole Foods, (My Jugs there water) I don't add anything to my water, I also built a 2nd drying rack so when 6-7 records are beaning cleaned 6-7 are spinning & drying. Then after they spin dry for a bit I vacuum them off with my Project VC-s vacuum machine . I put the timer on for 5-20 min depends on how dirty the records are. Other then that both machines work well & both do make some noise!!!
Could you clarify please, you mention on the Sinatra record that it was vacuumed-cleaned, now is this in addition to? What I believe you meant was that prior to the ultrasonic bath, you also vacuum-cleaned it with your Record Doctor. Whereas, with the first record you only did the ultrasonic-clean only, hence is why is may not have been as silent? Or did you say that in error?
Hi Jeff, I would not promote to use "TritonX" as is is on the list of "substances of very high concerns" and forbidden in several countries. Check out what wikipedia tells about it: "In December 2012, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) included the substance group “4-(1,1,3,3-tetramethylbutyl)phenol, ethoxylated” - which includes Triton X-100 - in the Candidate List of substances of very high concern[10]"[...] "...chemical substances and their potential impacts on human health and the environment.[11] A Triton X-100 degradation product has indeed turned out to be ecotoxic as it possesses hormone-like (estrogeno-mimetic) activity that may act on wildlife". It is just my opinion but why would you risk your health in using this for a hobby? ;^)
Do u use audio grade mains cable on the ultrasonic cleaner??

Because he's not drinking it...
@@mikechivy You are already at risk when manipulating wet LP without gloves...
30 minutes to dry is crazy. I'll stick with my hand clean + Nitty Gritty
You don't have to air dry, I use a vacuum after an ultrasonic cleaning and rinse.
Sounds crackly bright change ur system
Jeez, that noise plus utter process of cleaning the record. I think that I'd rather get a tooth pulled.
you can typically do 4 at a time, and the only thing you need to do is wait for the machine to do everything.
