@@scootergrant8683 well we have all the techonligy and parts needed. We would need to alter said parts to miniturize them. But this would need allot of funding
Let's be honest, this is a novelty not a resurrection. There's barely anybody buying CDs, heck, there's barely any devices that support CD. Most PCs & laptops don't include disc drives, if cars have anything to play music out of, it will only have a USB port in them & even the Sony (you know, the guys that invented the CD) PlayStation 5 can't read CDs (although the Xbox series can.) With such little support for the main format for physical music, what chance does Mini Disc have when pretty much nobody even has a device that they could play them on?
Even in it's heyday of the late 90s/early 2000s hardly anything was released on MiniDisc. It was treated as a recording format to replace cassette, until mp3 and CD-R became common place.
Hey just discovered your channel. I recently scored a Tascam MD-350 on Ebay and thanks to your video I went searching on Bandcamp and bought my first new minidisc album. Any plans for new videos? I hope I'm not too late!
Can we bring this format back
Let’s do it!
@@minidiscwave-te6ex My friend also likes minidiscs and we are looking for the logistics of bringing minidiscs back
@@poyoAesthetic Any updates?
