She was constantly touching and hugging me and was the only person at school who got me a birthday present every year, not even my best friends got me anything. I found out in college that she was in love with me from a friend of ours that was shocked we never got together. It was already too late though, because she was dating someone, that she ended up marrying. I think back on how she acted around me and want to kick myself due to being so blind. Haunts me at night while laying in bed as well. So this is one of the few songs that really resonates with me.
Someone very wise said that when we die we don’t regret what we did, we regret what we didn’t do. That stinks you may have missed out on your love of your life.
