The knife looks amazing! How long did it take you in the end? (And how much time do you think it would have taken if you had the belts sander from the get go?)
Thanks! In total it took me around twelve hours estimated. Probably six hours of that were filing and hand sanding. With the belt grinder from the start it would probably have saved me five hours or so. My wife adviced me to get one, since she thought I was spending too much time in the shed.
