- Best hotel in Kuala Lumpur, the Mandarin Oriental next to the Petronas Towers. A walk from the Suria KLCC shopping mall, through gardens in the centre of KL to the hotel. Within the hotel, views of the lobby, pool, the Club Lounge and a top floor Club Room. Great views of the city around.
Very well done sir!
Thanks very much for your videos and especially this one. Brings back some very nice memories. Spent a few nights in the hotel a couple of years ago and loved especially the fantastic service provided by the staff not to mention the view from the hotel room windows.

Hey mate,We are off to KL for 4 nights before a wedding at the Shangrila Jakarta, wondering whether you would pick the mandarin oriental or grand Hyatt KL for a relaxing time (shopping and swimming). Could stay at the doubletree on points but thinking KL prices are a good opportunity for something a bit nicer. What's your thoughts? Probably go club rooms either way. Also wondering if you used a car service or took the airport to KLCC train link.
Any tips much appreciated
Yah, even Expedia rank Shangri La and Traders higher at KL - trade off between guests expectations and reality, the feedback online travel agents ask for sometimes skews reality. Need to have visited KL a few times, the feel of the Mandarin Oriental different when you walk in. Traders has best hotel bar - Skybar at KL. Mandarin Oriental overall, reckon best hotel KL. Enjoy your next visit here.
amazing video, did you ever consider doing a video of walking around a hotel at night, im sure it has a different vibe all together. nevertheless excellent as always :)
I've stayed at the Mandarin Oriental back in 2008, I honestly think that it's about time to refurbish the rooms and give them a more modern look, they look very outdated compared to other MO hotels.
Will do next time ;-)
16:56 that was the ascott serviced apartment..
Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
*****
3:43 that is not St Regis bro, St Regis KL is located near to KL Sentral
Sorry,I didn't get the price..
How much was it again please??
The most luxurious hotel you prefer in KL after the Four Seasons please??
Thank you
Prices fluctuate, best to check direct with hotel. FS best; then Banyan Tree or MO...
@@MrKesavaraj cheers
Well,im goin 2 stay in this hotel on my next trip to KL..look nice..:)
Traders hotel the best hotel, but the mandarin orientaL the greastest hotel ever in Kuala Lumpur.
Lee Claxton and Kesavaraj, haveyou been already at Shangri-lá? To be very honest, the room showed on this video, very "plain" and outdated to be a M.O! And pricewise, Shangri-la and Traders are less expensive ....
i hate traders....MO is the best...
