Today I will tell you about Rory Feek's latest blog titled Canceled.
Rory Feek writes in his latest blog that.
In the last few weeks, online I have been accused, tried and found guilty by a jury of public opinion... and canceled.
And what is sad is that with all these attacks on my character, I have had no one from any of these news sources reach out to me personally or ask me a single thing about the the acccusations that are being leveled against me.
They just report whatever they choose to say, or someone else says, as truth, and the public runs with it, and pretty soon Facebook, Instagram and other social media platforms are overrun with rumors, stories, gossip, and hateful comments directed at me personally by the thousands.
And while that's all that has been happening... one-by-one many of the events, and the writing jobs I had that were on my schedule have been canceled, along with of course... me. Very quickly, people began to distance themselves from me. Unsure whether what they've heard or seen online might be true, and even if it's not, they need to make sure they don't personally get caught in any of the crossfire directed at me.
All that said… I don’t feel canceled.
I feel the opposite of that. While all this has been taking place online, here at our farm in our actual physical lives, we’ve been having the greatest time settling into our new life as a married couple and family (it has honestly reminded me a lot of the first few months or so of the COVID pandemic here in our small town. If you didn't have a TV on, or weren't keeping up with all the terrifying news reports online, you wouldn't even know it was happening).

People are quick to judge. God knows what right.
Yes, and besides being quick to judge, people love to find fault with someone else's life...but not their own. They seem to love to criticize. Sadly, it's a very strange phenomenon, but it does exist.
Rory Feek, I have been following you since before you married Joey. Don’t lose heart. You have done a wonderful job nurturing your family In your daily life. Gossip is worthless & not worth my time. Another thought is that Rory may not have realized that he needed a wife and momma for his little girl until family problems developed. I'm happy for him that a new chapter has begun in his and Indy's journey. How I wish that family drama was not put out for everyone to hear. Maybe consider only talking about it with ones that love you all....
May God continue to help this family work through whatever difficulties they're facing. And may the people around them view them and treat them as God does while they're working through this process. 🙏

Best lesson in life is, it may hurt what others say about you, but what matters is what you know about yourself. I think dad has done a great job parenting and babygirls' sisters will one day realize how they are the ones doing damage to her. They need to let dad be dad, it is his right and Joey would say the same. I will never believe dad is putting his precious daughter in harms Way. Family can be the worst enemy. And then when the parent passes away they are raised to sainthood in a matter of hours. Prayers for all

One daughter is an athiest. The other daughter is married to another woman. They were putting Indiana is situations that were not in alignment w/Rory's personal beliefs. As a parent, it is his responsability and right to parent Indie as he sees fit. It appears to me that the older girls are possibly jealous of Rory remarrying.

Very sad to hear this Rory. These people who find fault need to take a look in the mirror. If they are true Christians,it is not up to them to be the judge of others. That is up to God. I certainly hope thise who criticized don't know what their future holds,or if it will be smooth sailing. These ones are not Christians .but Hypocrites. Okay, you tried. The next move is theirs. They say they love Indy, what a way to show it by trying to take her away from the one that loves her the most. Isn't it funny that none of this came up until you got remarried. I know that you and Joey visited the same place so many times before she passed away. If they were bad people she would not have been associated with them. Why are they afraid to talk to you? I have always felt like if you can't work out the problems in your family, how can a total stranger fix things? Rory you tried? Let them keep telling their stories. People that know you will not believe their stories. I will be praying for peace in your family and things to work out for the best.

My thoughts as well. I wouldn’t want my child staying with them for long periods of time. I know one of his daughters is living in sin & I works never let a child of mine stay with her being in the lifestyle she is in. However , this is something they will have to work out. But they are the ones who are wrong & then putting it out all over the world is an evil thing to do. I can only pray that God will get ahold of their hearts & lives.

You want this to die down Rory? Allow Indy to see her sisters, get away from homestead heritage all together!, Repent and ask forgiveness with your new FAMILY! Not just you because if Joey were here she would expect more from you, she would be on that porch holding flowers and indys hand, get back to the work of your real church roots and get back with the Gathers. That parting damaged you already with the Christian community. Those people who were your friends stop being holier than thou and get back to those people who backed you up when Joey passed away. You holing away at the farm and not allowing Indy to be with her sisters whom she loves speaks volumes as to your character. I thought more of you Rory and Rebecca. You have disappointed a very devoted fan.
Is he not allowed to be happy? Gods path is not always the path that looks straight. There is turns, straight lines, bridges but we all arrive at our designation. Regardless if it’s the path you want for him. He found his path that works for him & his new family that includes precious Indiana. When a spouse passes away, there comes a change. A different church, different friends at times. Your no longer in a group. Thangs change! You may not like it but God has a plan. Believe in him.
@wandaellis7075 a real church doesn't shut out everyone but members. There were not one but two fugitives in the wedding party. No a cult is the only type of church that shuts out the world. Rebecca if a good choice would have been a lot more inclusive with his other daughters if she's a REAL Christian that's to be christ-like. She doesn't impress me or apparently anybody if he's losing work. I think his family unit as a whole is more important than this imagined bubble he's hiding in.
@@marlo2606 A church is open to ALL. I worked in a church for 10 years. Bookkeeper / Secretary. Now after saying that, a church can be clickish… sounds like you have a lot of sour grapes in relation to Rory, new wife etc.. it would seem you don’t want him to be happy! He morned his wife. Indy is 10 now, she loves Rebecca and her daddy. I am all for ones finding love again, to go thru this life.
Now about the 2 fugitives. If they served their time than why not attend the wedding if they were invited. God would have welcomed them.
This is their life, let them find their way as a newly married couple. I am sure the Gathers would understand especially since they are Christian’s.

@wandaellis7075 I have a special needs child underneath no circumstances whatsoever would I have fugitives in a music video and spending time with my child! Indy deserves better judgment than hap hazard decisions! Also Indy was brought home by police after wandering into the highway lost! Nobody noticed her gone till police arrived! Heidi and Hopie have a serious question about safety in their father's decisions for Indy. No Joey would NOT want this kind of complete isolation to reality and family. You need to get your facts in order more likely they will get Indy he keeps with that cult homestead heritage!! His celebrity image won't answer for the facts here!!
Why is it a bad thing to talk to your older daughters with a therapist? Your older daughters need closure or verification. What is there to hide? They need this. Why can't they spend time with their sister? It doesn't make sense. Hoping you all can come to a respectful place.

No, they will do everything they can to turn Indy against her Dad. What did they expect would happen when they said such horrible things about their Dad? This is all their making. I never did trust the two older girls. There always seemed to be something off about them.

The sisters need to go by Rory's rules when they see her. He is her father and has a right to decide how he wants to raise her and what he does or doesn't want her exposed to. When they have children they can raise them the way they want to, but they aren't Indy's parents so they need to respect their dad's decisions about Indy.
I agree with the girls when Rory said the first time in her life she had a mother anyone that ever seen Joy with Indiana you could see the love that she had for that little girl he should have thought before he said that you should have phrase did different because Joey did love that little girl
