Your analysis of the C-tier drivers really helped me decide whether to go with a double B or single A lineup. My budget is sim the middle of the road between those standard builds, at 115.3M. I think that, going forward, with frequent DNFs and a ton of overtakes at Spa, I think I will keep my single A lineup for three more weeks until cashing in after Spa to bring in a double B lineup.
@@ForzaFerrari-z8lsounds like a great plan. One you’ve got enough budget to position for a strong Double B lineup, I think moving in that direction will definitely your points ceiling
Great video! Nor seems like a must-have. Agree that RBR constructor feel like a trap right now, Perez still not in form and MER-MCL-FER higher in points last week, even pulling pit stop awards.. the $ can be better-spent for quality C drivers and chance for budget gains. If FER are looking decent I’ll bring them in with MER to try and to build this week
Hi Rob, Great vid i luckily have enough budget to afford PIA and NOR but I have to have budget drivers like SAR BOT ZHO should I do that or Norris and hulk and other good budget drivers?
Great stuff per usual Rob! with so few overtakes, I'm starting to really not love a C tier heavy lineup...even though I could have GAS, the 2 Haas guys, and Yuki, which might play out well with MER MCL ? ( also that 4 C tier squad doesn't require a -10 )
Thanks as always Mike! I honestly like the idea of running the four reliable Tier Cs as much as a double B. Turns out I’ll be stuck on something similar unless I wildcard or take more -10s, the latter of which I am overly enthusiastic about 😂
Hi Rob, appreciate the videos. - Would you prioritize MCL (vs FER) or NOR (vs HAM/RUS)? - For lineups, between: NOR/PIA/HUL/GAS/SAR or RUS/PIA/GAS/OCO/HUL? (Both MER/MCL) I like the 1st for points, the 2nd for budget..
Does it ever make any sense going with a C level Constructor (like Alpine) along with a MERC or FER in able to afford two A level drivers like VER & NOR? It strikes me that you always need to start with two B level constructors and then build from there. Be interested in your opinion (and the opinion of others).
I wouldn’t touch any C-tier constructors - so anything bellow Ferrari. If in doubt I always prioritize constructors. I would also rate Mercedes and McLarne much higher then Ferrari (and maybe even Red Bull) at the moment.
I think with Norris likely to be part of with Verstappen, running NOR and two premium constructors outweighs VER NOR and a b+c tier constructor. The C Tiers are just too unreliable. None of them have had consecutive 35+ point hauls, so I just feel that there’s a lot more reliability in the stronger teams
Such a balance because I agree Lando is the way to go forward.. Because right now I can get Lando and another tier B driver like George or Lewis but then should we plan for future.. Max is very dominant for the upcoming races which are- Hungary, Spa (engine penalty..?), Dutch (almost guaranteed win). Can’t get another tier B driver with Max. Very difficult this year to be going back-and-forth and taking -10s! 🙃
In saying that, I think definitely Lando is the way forward with another tier B driver. If Max takes an engine penalty in the Spa race could be massive points haul so that’s all I am worried about.
@@travelledbonesI think Max is dominant but Lando should match or exceed his points if he wins DOTD again and again. Spa is still a couple races of so if you want him, there’s enough to plan for that race

In not sim 😅 although I do love the f1 fantasy tools sims
Same sameee

Love your videos! Very relaxing and informative 👌 I recon you should have some nice chillhop or relaxing music in the background, would be awesome!
Thanks for the feedback!

Thank you Rob for a great video as always and appreciate all the help last weekend!
Thanks Dave!!

Thank you for adding a Chip Strategy section!

Quick question on a grid penalty... for example, if Max qualifies P1 and then takes a 20 place grid penalty, does he keep the points for P1 or not?
If max qualifies P1, he gets his qualifying points and points scored in the GP are based on his starting grid position

@@SimOn-v2t Good advice. I ran VER and NOR in Austria with Alpine as the constructor because I ran the 3X chip. What a waste.

I took my third -10 in Austria and suspect it won’t be my last either
Somehow I put Russell in as my 2nd b tier choice cause he was all I could afford! Best luck this whole season 😂
Avoid Ferrari until they fix their bouncing issue. At that point they will only have their own dumb strategists to ruin their points outcome
Great video.
Yabaadabbadoo!
I started 3 weeks late in F1 Fantasy this season😢😢
Still plenty of time left!! Keep at it
